South Bucks Counselling are looking for a Trustee to lead its fundraising activities to help grow and expand its services.

South Bucks Counselling is a dynamic and committed charity providing affordable counselling to the local community in South Buckinghamshire. We are looking for a trustee with an interest in tackling mental health to lead SBC’s fundraising efforts. The role is ideal for someone who is retired, working part-time or has some spare a few hours a month to help tackle mental health and community wellbeing?

Role Overview: As a Trustee focussed on fundraising, you will lead the:

• Researching of funding opportunities and grants
• Writing of compelling funding and grant applications
• Development of our fundraising strategy

What we're looking for:

Someone with a sales, marketing or fundraising background.

• Experience or interest in fundraising and grant applications
• Good research and writing skills
• Strategic thinker with a passion for supporting mental health initiatives
• Commitment to our mission and community

Lindengate are a Mental Health Charity specialising in social therapeutic horticulture based in Wendover (next to Blue Diamond Garden Centre).
Our 6 acre garden in Wendover offers a safe and inclusive space to connect, meet new people and learn new skills through our wellbeing courses and programmes. We also have lots of volunteering opportunities – from regular volunteering to corporate volunteering days.
Our gardens are open to the public throughout the year during our Open Garden Sessions and for events.
