Meet the Team Tuesday! Dinesh started in the home as a carer and after 2 years and lots of hard work has been promoted to team leader and senior carer. Its really important for us as a team to recognise his skill and level of care and encourage his growth in the team. Dinesh lives locally and loves to go to the gym often. He gained his Masters in International Studies in Yorkshire. His favourite thing about his role is being able to support residents and hear all about their fascinating lives.

We couldn't do what we do without the intelligent, kind, professional, supportive, amusing and passionate men who make up our teams across the country. And, of course, where would we be without our marvellous residents, whose life stories never fail to inspire and surprise us 💙

What a wonderful time we had yesterday at our afternoon tea in support of the fantastic charity - ! Singing, dancing, friendship, laughter, yummy treats and hot drinks with the odd glass of prosecco and most importantly - money raised for a wonderful cause! ❤🙏😃

Meet the Team Tuesday! ✨

Mohan is one of our incredible new carers who has been with the Chiltern Grange family for over 6 months.

Mohan also trained and has worked as a physiotherapist for over 2 years, and we are grateful for the incredible experience he offers. Mohan studied in Hyderabad, India and lives locally with his wife and little boy Ayaansh and little girl Shrinika. Mohan loves to tend to his garden, play table tennis and cricket in his spare time. That is when he isn't running after the kids!

This World Diabetes Day, Diabetes UK are challenging the stigma surrounding diabetes and encouraging people to reflect on how they talk about the condition.

Diabetes UK found that, across the UK, over 8 in 10 people with type 1 and over 7 in 10 people with type 2 diabetes say they experience blame and judgement for their condition. It is important that we are all conscious of how the things we say impact others, because our words matter. Together, we can and help improve the lives of those living with diabetes.

To mark Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, our residents have taken part in memorial services across the country to honour those who served and continue to serve our country. For many of our residents, these dates hold personal significance and provide the opportunity to not only honour their own past, loved ones and friends, but also share memories of such an important part of their lives.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
