Exciting improvements are coming to Wycombe Hospital – redevelopment work starts this month, and we’re changing car parking arrangements from 14 January.

Please allow extra time when attending your appointment or visiting a patient. Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve facilities at the Trust.

Where can I park if I’m attending an appointment?

🔹 The main car park to the side of the hospital (Car Park B) will now be closed.
🔹 If you’re attending an appointment or visiting a patient in the buildings coloured green or orange on the map, please use Car Park A (in front of the hospital) or the lower level of Car Park 2 (multi-story parking opposite The Shelburne Hospital entrance).
🔹 If you’re attending an appointment or visiting within the buildings coloured blue or purple on the map, please use Car Park A or the Staples (Office Outlet) Car Park (to the left of the hospital just after the roundabout turn).
🔹 Blue Badge holders: dedicated spaces will remain available on site for patients and visitors.

The Practice will be closed today from 1pm for training.

Our online forms will close from 12:30pm and reopen tomorrow at 7:30am

It has been a few months since the launch of our new telephone system and a month of our new booking system.

The data is in and last week our average wait time to get through to reception was 1 minute 9 seconds! With the longest wait time being 15 minutes. We are so happy that the changes have allowed the surgery to be more accessible to patients.

We are always open to feedback and suggestions about how we can further improve the practice and this can be done constructively by joining our patient participation group.

We currently have several staff members of sick with Covid. Please be kind to our team despite delays in responses they are trying their hardest.

Today we have had 6 patients DNA GP appointments with 4 of those patients booking on the day appointments and then not turning up.

You can either cancel your appointment via your NHS App or call the surgery and leave a voicemail on our automated system for our administrators to pick up so that someone else can get access to care.

Today we have launched our new total triage model. This means that you now must complete a form to request an appointment. These forms are triaged by a GP, Minor illness nurse & clinical care co-ordinator.

If you are unable to complete the form yourself a receptionist will do it for you.
