I know from first hand experience and having regular massage how important and beneficial it can be on many levels. I find it deeply rewarding that I am able to assist people looking for non-medicinal ways to relieve not only physical aches and pains but also emotional strains and tensions. My work supports people in taking positive steps towards understanding better the dialogue between their body and their mind.
Massage is an effective method of relieving stress and anxiety and for some can aid in managing chronic pain, as it is renowned for its therapeutic effects. With stress and anxiety on the rise people are looking for non-medicinal alternatives to relieve their symptoms. Massage is one such therapy that has proven effective for a range of conditions.
I am passionate about working with people wanting to incorporate massage into their lives as a way to help manage stress, anxiety and depression. For clients suffering with chronic conditions massage can assist them with their pain management.
I am a dynamic and compassionate therapist with a warm and sincere holistic approach to massage. I provide a high quality therapeutic massage experience and tailor each session to meet the individual’s needs. I pride myself in being able to create a space and opportunity for people to step away from the world for a while, to rest and to be still both physically and mentally.
I also work with Pregnant and Postnatal ladies. Some ladies bloom and glow in their pregnancies and in this case massage is a lovely way to feel pampered and relaxed.
For others the physiological, emotional and postural changes that occur during pregnancy, can lead to ailments, aches and pains, especially in the back neck and shoulders. Massage, and gentle mobilization help to ease and prevent these tensions, relaxing, softening and lengthening the postural muscles of the back.
With a new baby to care for and nurture it can be hard to find some precious time to yourself but keeping yourself healthy and happy is even more important now.
Postnatal massage can assist in you returning and restoring yourself to your non-pregnant self with an aim to help improve energy levels and balance hormone levels and mood.
