Today at Hyllden Heights we celebrated National Hospitailty Workers Appreciation Day. Where we applauded the hard work done by our indespensable hospitality team. This also included Sheila one of our residents who every day folds all the napkins and table linen for every dining room in the home and is well and truly part of the hospitality team.

We’re so pleased to share that we held our very first Dementia Café, supported by Age UK. It was a lovely session filled with conversation, connection, and plenty of smiles.
Our Dementia Café will now run once a month — dates to follow very soon!
These sessions are a gentle, welcoming space where people living with dementia, their families, and carers can: ✨ Meet others who understand
✨ Enjoy a relaxed, calming environment
✨ Access support, guidance, and friendly conversation
✨ Build confidence and feel part of a community

Huge thanks to the wellbeing team at Hyllden Heights for the brilliant initiative of coming into work during the night shift and secretly making pancakes for our wonderful night team as a random act of kindness.
