Ex-domiciliary carer Paul Ogu joined Parkfield in 2021. He’s an experienced and dedicated carer, Health & Safety representative and Quality Care Lead. He highlights areas that require quality input and helps ensure that colleagues deliver the highest-quality care. What an amazing week it’s been! Today on , we’ve wrapped up Week in true style. We've enjoyed lots of music, movement, creativity, sunshine and of course… plenty of ice cream! 😄🍦

For us, Week has been full of love, laughter and creativity. We have come together as a closer community and made new friends. We couldn’t be more grateful to our amazing residents and team who make every day so special. 💛

Yesterday we opened our doors for our annual Care Home Open Day – and what a fantastic day it was! We kicked things off with a sizzling BBQ in the garden, serving up juicy hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, fresh salads and a delicious helping of creamy Eton Mess for dessert. 🍔
In the afternoon, we welcomed Ben from our good friends, the ageing charity Equal Arts, who brought fun and creativity with a dance-themed art session, including drawing of line dancing and even the sultry tango! 💃
To round off a brilliant day, one of our favourite singers, Paul Michael, gave a fantastic live singing performance, covering a wide variety of styles and hits. He very soon had residents, relatives and staff up on their feet dancing, despite the hot weather! 🎤
We'd like to say a huge thank to our amazing guests, including the lovely students from Uxbridge College for joining us on this special day and, of course, all our relatives and helpers who made the day such a great success. The residents haven’t stopped talking about it – “what a great day!” was everyone's comment. ❤️
