Visiting Angels is officially the Dementia Care Employer (Community) winner at the Dementia Care Awards 2025.
This recognition is more than an award, it's a celebration of every care worker who puts heart, skill, and dedication into supporting those living with dementia.

The judges shared:

Hot Weather Alert 🔔 — Stay Cool & Safe This Summer!

As temperatures rise, seniors are especially vulnerable to heat-related illnesses. At Visiting Angels, we’re helping our clients beat the heat with care, compassion, and smart summer safety tips.

Here’s how to help loved ones stay safe:

🌬️ Keep cool indoors with fans or air conditioning
💧 Stay hydrated — sip water often, even if not thirsty
🧢 Avoid going out during peak heat (11am–4pm)

Our caregivers are trained to spot early signs of heat stress and are always on hand to ensure clients stay comfortable and safe.
