UK Veterans Hearing Foundation

UK Veterans Hearing Foundation We believe that we should honour those who have served and still serve our country by offering them the best hearing technology at the best price & service

Since becoming a charity, we have managed to fit over 50 veterans with top-class hearing aids! However, we still have more than 2,500 veterans who need our help in getting back to a normal standard of life after the hearing damage they received in their years of service. Any donations we receive are a huge help in the lives of our vets and we are eternally grateful for whatever you may be able to spare.

On November 9th, the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation joined Birmingham City Football Club for a special Remembrance Event. Held in the Fan Zone, our initiative brought together fans, veterans, and supporters to honour the brave individuals who have served our country. This event was an opportunity to raise vital funds for our mission of providing hearing support to veterans in need, and thanks to the generosity of BCFC fans and the efforts of our team, the day was a resounding success.

In part one of Mr. William Thompson’s story, we shared his journey from serving in the Royal Armoured Corps to facing the challenges of hearing loss and tinnitus as a result of his military service. Thanks to the generosity of the Veterans Welfare Group and the UKVHF hearing aid pathway, he was fitted with advanced hearing aids, which marked the beginning of a positive change in his life. Now, one month later, we’re excited to provide an update on Mr. Thompson’s progress.

☕✨ A Wonderful Morning with Our Veterans! ☕✨

We had an amazing time at the Veterans Coffee Morning on Wednesday, October 9th, organised by HBBC! It was great to sit down and chat with so many incredible veterans, hear their stories, and discuss how we can continue to support them with their hearing needs. 💬👂
We were also thrilled to introduce Dean from our partner, Veterans Welfare Group. Dean had the chance to meet with the veterans, share stories from his time in the Air Force, and talk about the many ways he can help. 🙌
Thank you to everyone who came along—we’re already looking forward to the next gathering! Until then, take care, and know we’re always here to support you. 💙

On the second Sunday of each November, the nation comes together to honour and remember those who have lost their lives in world wars and other conflicts. This year, we’re proud to announce that the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation will be at Birmingham Football Club on Saturday, November 9th for a special Remembrance event. As we commemorate the sacrifices of those who served, we’ll also be raising funds to support our mission of providing veterans with access to life-changing care.

The event, hosted in collaboration with The Considerate Constructors Scheme, is a veteran employment seminar, called "Veterans Lead the Way @ The NMA." It will consist of a programme of speakers on a range of subjects pertinent to service leavers, veterans, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers and the wider military family, and employers wishing to recruit them. There will be stands from Balfour Beatty PLC, Sunbelt Rentals, Milestone Infrastructure, Cheetham Hill Construction, Henry Williams & Sons (Roads), The Institute of Leadership (IoL), Mulally Group and others. There will be ample opportunity to network with hiring managers and social impact managers in attendance as audience members, as well as other service leavers and veterans. Delegates will also get to engage with Project RECCE, a charity focused on resettling service leavers and veterans in the UK construction industry.
