🤔Why Massage Isn’t Supposed to Hurt - Even If You’re Sore.
There’s a stubborn myth out there: “If it doesn’t hurt, it’s not working.” 😖

We hear this all the time — people come in bracing themselves, expecting pain, and assuming deep tissue means bruising pressure. But good sports massage shouldn’t hurt — it should help. 🤩

Here’s a little secret - most people wait way too long before booking their massage. 😱

They come in only after weeks (or months) of nagging pain, stiffness, or poor sleep. By the time we see them, the issue is layered — one tight muscle pulling on another, or an old injury flaring back up because of compensation patterns. 😖

Jen and I totally get it — life is busy. But one of the best things you can do for your body is not wait until something’s ‘bad enough.’

🖐️Regular massage is like brushing your teeth. It doesn’t have to be weekly, but a consistent rhythm keeps things flowing, manageable, and pain-free. You wouldn’t skip dentist visits until a filling falls out, right? 😅

So, here’s our advice:
• Don’t wait for pain to be unbearable
• Listen to small warning signs (niggles, stiffness, fatigue)
• Think of massage as maintenance, not just crisis care
• Clients who come in before a race or tournament notice better movement, sharper focus, and less anxiety.
