‘Since joining Slimming World, I’m more than 10st (64kgs) lighter and no longer require medication’ 🙌!

Before, Ian was taking seven different medications each day to manage his health. He suffered from high blood pressure and stage 3 liver disease – and was told if he didn’t make changes to his lifestyle, he’d need a transplant 💔.

Fast forward to today, and he’s taken control of his health and his weight. As well as slimming down, he’s also stepped up his activity habits – literally! – and will be taking on the London Marathon next month in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK 🧡.

Meet Tracey, my gorgeous member who reached her target this week 🎉

Tracey has lost just over 2 stone since joining my group, and what an incredible journey it’s been. This week she showed us the piece of string she used to measure herself at the very start… and the difference in inches lost is simply unbelievable!

On Monday, Tracey shared that the weekly support from our amazing group has been key to her success. Even when the scales weren’t always kind, she stayed, listened, and planned for the week ahead – and that consistency has truly paid off.

Not only has Tracey transformed her weight, but she’s transformed her lifestyle too. She’s joined a gym, rides her bike to group, and is part of a local theatre group. Most importantly, she’s gained back her confidence – and it shows ✨

She’s even joined my social team, and we absolutely raised the roof for her on Monday at St John’s Church, she is such an inspiration to everyone in the room ❤️

Tracey has also brought along her mum and her aunty who enjoy attending group too, definitely a family affair.

How am I only just discovering the joy of a speed mop?! 🤯

Honestly… I am OBSESSED! I’ve been flying round the house today getting all my floors done and it’s made spring cleaning feel like an absolute doddle. No heavy buckets, no faffing about… just quick, easy and actually quite satisfying!

With spring in the air and brighter days ahead, it’s really got me in the mood for a good clean and freshen up ready for all that beautiful weather (where I definitely plan to be outside more ☀️).

Crikey finding this today for my raffle is like finding a needle in a hay stack, been to 3 different shops and got to and they had completely sold out except for this last one.

I have a feeling some of my fellow colleagues have got there first 😂

What’s new p***y cat? Fred is loving the new magazine that goes on sale this week in group.

I was reading it whilst making dinner and he couldn’t keep his eyes off the pages, was hilarious 🤣 clearly a fan!

There’s nothing I love more than getting out in the garden, and this beautiful weather has really spurred me on 🌱☀️

My new greenhouse is finally getting some love and I’ve started growing my own fruit and vegetables… there’s honestly nothing more satisfying than growing your own and enjoying it on your plate, is there?

So far I’ve got cucumbers, strawberries and tomatoes on the go, with a long list of what I want to grow next!

This sunshine has encouraged me back outside, my body magic is in full swing and my green fingers have well and truly returned 💚

Meet our Two Together winners from my Saturday group at St Francis 💫

Ivan and Hayley attend the 9.30am session together, and what an incredible team they are!

Ivan joined us just 7 weeks ago and has lost weight nearly every single week. On Saturday, he achieved an amazing 6lb loss, bringing his total to 1 stone 10lb so far 👏 Hayley also celebrated her fantastic stone award – such a brilliant milestone!

They’re supporting each other every step of the way to target, and it truly shows. They love their meals and have both embraced the plan beautifully. Ivan admitted he thought it might be difficult, but he’s taken to it like a duck to water. He’s feeling so much better, has more energy, and has even cut his coffee sugars from 3 down to zero – despite being a big coffee drinker!

The way Hayley and Ivan bounce off each other is so inspiring. They bring such a positive energy to group every week, and it’s an absolute pleasure having them with us. When Ivan missed a session, he was genuinely gutted – he said group is essential for him and loves how kind and supportive everyone is.

When her GP flagged that Devinia’s blood pressure was higher than it should be, she knew she needed to make a change – and joined her local SlimmingWorld group ❤️. Now 13st ½lb (82.8kg) lighter, she’s fitter, healthier and has bags of energy too.
