What an incredible weekend of celebrations! 🎉 We were overjoyed to host not one, but TWO 90th birthday parties for our wonderful residents, Jean and Shirley!

The room was filled with so much love, laughter and joy as we honored these two remarkable women. Reaching 90 years is a magnificent milestone, and we are so grateful to have been able to share this special time with them and their families.

Happy 90th Birthday, Jean and Shirley! Thank you for letting us celebrate you. Here's to many more joyful moments! 🎂🎈

Our team at Moorhouse recently took part in an International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) training session, and the feedback has been fantastic! 👏📘✨ The session was interactive and engaging, helping everyone gain a deeper understanding of how to safely support residents with swallowing difficulties. 💛

We are so proud to be continually learning and caring for our residents, and the team said they all learnt something new and felt more confident in applying the IDDSI framework in day-to-day care. 🌟

Spa Afternoon Bliss! 🌸 Our residents enjoyed a relaxing spa afternoon, complete with freshly styled hair, manicures and plenty of smiles all around. 💛💆‍♀️💅 It was the perfect way to unwind, feel pampered and enjoy a bit of well-deserved “me time.” 🕯️🌷

Our residents marked Remembrance Sunday yesterday with warmth, reflection and respect. ❤️🇬🇧 They spent time remembering those who served and sacrificed, sharing stories and memories while honouring the brave men and women who gave so much for our freedom. It was a beautiful and meaningful day for everyone. 🌸✨

Our residents had a wonderful time in the kitchen recently, making their very own berry mousse desserts - complete with lots of tasty toppings! 😋🍨 From whipped cream and chocolate flakes to fresh fruit and sprinkles, everyone enjoyed getting creative and personalising their puddings. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

It was a sweet afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork and plenty of smiles (and maybe a little taste-testing along the way!). 💕
