Don't forget to join us us for a Falls Prevention Workshop Tomorrow from 6.30pm.

Delivered by the wonderful team from Hope Rehab, they will cover topic such as:

• Understanding Common Fall Risks and how to avoid them

• Simple Strength & Balance Exercises tailored to older adults

• Practical Tips for a Safer Living Space

There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Staff, residents, friends, families and the local community came together at Moorlands Lodge to enjoy our annual summer fete.
We had a fantastic day, live entertainment by the amazing , a pamper hamper raffle, bottle tombola, colouring competition, games galore for everyone to join in and win some prizes and much more . A huge thank you to our culinary team for the amazing food, refreshments and cakes they prepared for the day’s events.

Despite the majority of the time it was wet and windy we started operation plan B and done what we could inside the building, with the sun making an appearance eventually!

Thank you to all our residents, staff and visitors who joined us for a fun-filled day, we raised a magnificent £250 for .

As part of Collector Car Appreciation Day we had a visit from with a selection of classic cars.
Our residents and staff enjoyed looking at the cars and chatting with our friends from Grayshott Heritage who are always a pleasure to have visit us.

Cars give people the freedom to travel where they like and when they like. The cars of
today are the result of more than 120 years of development and improvement. They still
work on the same principles as the earliest cars, but they take us from place to place
more quickly and safely than ever before and they use much less fuel.

A massive Thank You to Grayshott Heritage for another successful event.

Our tennis fans here at Moorlands Lodge were delighted to be able watch the 138th Wimbledon Tournament virtually from the comfort of their armchairs. Residents and staff got together to watch the matches. Tuesday & Wednesday we were fortunate enough to actually attend Wimbledon and watch fabulous tennis up close! - A huge thankyou to David in activities for making it happen!

For the finals this weekend we just had to have the Pimm's and strawberries and cream to finish yet another fabulous year of Wimbledon!

Residents and Staff have had an eventful week celebrating World Well-being Week.
World Wellbeing Week is a global initiative held annually in the last week of June to promote and raise awareness of the importance of wellbeing. The focus is on physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as social and economic influences. This week has been a powerful reminder to us all, that the pursuit of wellbeing should be a daily endeavour.

We have enjoyed a multitude of activities this week including Mindfulness, Massages, freshly made mocktails & smoothies, ice cream and socials in the sunshine and also therapeutic art sessions of freshly cut flowers.
