Sometimes we spend years in a life that looks fine from the outside — even beautiful — but deep down, we wonder if we’re really living in alignment with who we are.

We fall into careers, routines, identities… and somewhere along the way, lose touch with what lights us up.

And when clarity doesn’t come, we start to believe maybe it never will.

This winter, we cut back our acer tree.
It had grown so full that, while stunning in bloom, it completely blocked our lounge window. The room became dark. We couldn’t see out, and no light could get in.

We pruned it hard — so much so that my husband and I were convinced we’d gone too far.
That maybe we’d killed it.

But slowly, quietly, signs of life returned.
Tiny buds appeared. And yesterday… we saw a leaf.

It reminded me how growth isn’t always visible.

How sometimes we need to cut back — not to destroy, but to make space.
For light. For perspective. For something new.

If you’ve been feeling lost or unsure of your path — hold on.

Just because you can’t see the change doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

Maybe you’re not stuck. Maybe you’re just in your winter.
And maybe, just maybe — a new leaf is already on its way. 🍁

I have some exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking!) news to share…

🎥 I’ve just launched my very first YouTube channel and the very first episode is now live!

As a Nutrition and Health Coach, I’ve always loved connecting with people through emails, sessions, and conversations, and now I’m bringing that same passion to video. The channel is a space where I’ll be sharing tips, advice, knowledge, and experiences to support you in living a healthier, happier and more enjoyable life.

But I want to be really honest with you…

Recording this first episode took a lot of courage. Speaking into a camera didn’t come naturally to me (and still doesn’t!), and hitting “publish” felt incredibly vulnerable. 😅

I'm hoping the more I do, the more confident, comfortable and relaxed I feel.

I can't wish for confidence - I have to make a conscious effort and practice, even when it feels difficult.

This whole experience has pushed me way outside of my comfort zone - and that’s exactly why I’m doing it. Because growth often happens in the uncomfortable spaces. And if I can take a bold step like this, maybe it will inspire you to take one of your own too 💛

Life can feel like a constant juggling act with work and family responsibilities - it can at times become way to much to handle and we could all do with a helping hand to cope.

That overwhelm, the exhaustion can seep into every part of our life. I've been there (still there sometimes) but I do have some tools that I use to cope and get back some control.
