In Deb’s words…

I’ve been attending Yoga Universe for a few months now (I had never done yoga before) and from the moment I first walked through the door I was made to feel incredibly welcome. It genuinely feels like one big family.

My absolute favourite thing about Yoga Universe is their “You Do You” ethos. Whatever the practice involves, you’re encouraged to do what feels right for your body and what you’re capable of that day — nothing more, nothing less. It creates such a supportive environment where you can progress naturally, without pressure or fear of not keeping up.

I’ve never felt so supported at any other gym or fitness studio. Yoga Universe really does hit different. Over the months I’ve been attending, I’ve become stronger, more confident, more capable, and without a doubt happier — almost without even realising it.

Every class leaves me feeling uplifted and empowered, and I’m so grateful to have found such a positive and encouraging space.

Our next immersive breathwork session is now live.

Our last session was such a beautiful success — powerful releases, deep clarity, and some incredible feedback afterwards. It was amazing to witness the shifts in the room.

This session uses immersive headsets to guide you through a structured breath journey designed to help you:

• Calm mental overthinking
• Reduce stress and nervous system tension
• Build emotional resilience
• Quiet the inner critic
• Create clarity and focus

If you’ve been feeling mentally “noisy” or ready for a reset, this one will be for you.

Yogalates
Friday 6.30pm

Warrior 3 with the Pilates ball adds a whole new layer of work.

By actively pressing into the ball in this pose, you switch on:

• Deep core stabilisers – helping keep the pelvis steady
• Serratus anterior & shoulders – supporting strong, stable arms
• Mid–upper back – preventing the chest collapsing
• Glutes & hamstrings of the standing leg – powering the balance
• Foot and ankle stabilisers – keeping you grounded

The gentle isometric squeeze of the ball connects the upper body to the core, making the whole pose feel more integrated and controlled.
