SERTRALINE: Urgent drug recall warning from the MHRA

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an urgent, Class 2 medicines recall for a specific batch of Sertraline 100mg tablets

Manufacturer: Amarox Limited.
Affected Batch Number: V2500425.
Reason: A manufacturing error found that packs labeled as Sertraline 100mg may contain blister strips of Citalopram 40mg tablets.
Action Required: If you have this batch, stop taking the tablets, check the blister strip, and contact your pharmacist immediately.

The MHRA has advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying the affected batch of Sertraline 100mg and return all remaining stock to their suppliers.

Crescent Pharma Limited is recalling a specific batch of Ramipril 10mg in the UK due to a packaging error. Some cartons labelled as 10mg may contain 5mg capsules. Patients should check their medication carton for the batch number GR174091. If found, check the blister strips inside. If the strips are labelled 5mg, please return them to your pharmacy.
