Let’s be honest BMI doesn’t measure strength, discipline, or self-respect.
It doesn’t see muscle, hormones, genetics, or lifestyle either - so what gives society the right to judge ! Judge if you’re not a certain BMI, judge if you don’t fit a mould. If BMI is the measure of health… why are so many healthy women being body shamed by it? Health isn’t a number on a chart.
And strong women don’t shrink themselves to fit outdated standards. I feel it’s time that the medical professionals of this country accept this. Doctors say BMI defines health… but it doesn’t see this.”

It doesn’t see the workouts.
The discipline.
The healthy meals.
The mental strength.

So no… I’m not apologising for being a size 16. Healthy doesn’t come in one body type.

Am I shocked 🥶 maybe not - but I was told that I was “fragile” and had I considered loosing weight as that would help !!! I’m a size 16 and proud of it !! Up until recently I attended the gym 2-3 times a week, it Took me a lot of years to be more confident with my body, after being fat shamed all of my life … Being a size 16 isn’t the problem.
