Through our work, we see firsthand the life-changing impact grief can have on an individual. That's why we're sharing the importance of having the right bereavement support structure in place 🤍
Through our Talking Elephants bereavement groups, we see individuals navigating their grief journey and all the challenges it brings. We recognise there is no right or wrong way to grieve and that each journey is unique and deeply personal.
Our sessions are held across our nine branch locations within the Three Counties and offer a safe space for individuals to come together and share their feelings of grief. Regardless of where you are on your journey, other attendees are on hand to provide a listening ear.
Through our free bereavement groups, we share the importance of talking about grief.
Sue Ryder's 2025 'Back for a Moment' campaign found that of those involved, 88% of people feel alone in their grief, and more than 1 in 4 feel they can't talk about it.
In addition to our Talking Elephants sessions, we also provide access to GriefChat through our website. This platform provides professional counselling with 24/7 access, to ensure individuals never have to feel alone.
Talking about grief can help to validate feelings, provide clarity and perspective, offer a catalyst for growth and healing and offer valuable coping mechanisms.
