This weekend, I am so happy to be offering this opportunity to rest and recharge in the stunning setting of the_living_theatre in Whitwell.
I am joined by two beautiful souls ; Suzanne offering cacao and Claire bathing you in sound. We will begin in our circle with a quiet moment, before a ceremony of cacao. We close with an opportunity to rest, to lay down and receive a beautiful, gentle sound bath.
Sandwiched between the two we will practice a heart focused yoga practice including possibility for both movement and stillness, guided by me.
I look forward to seeing you all so much.
What a perfect end to the summer at this magical place. Message me if you have any questions at all claire@yogafeet.co.uk.
In case you are wondering…
Please bring a small mug, your yoga mat and blanket and cushion.
It’s a beautiful walk up to the event, and there is a new compost toilet onsite!

When the world can feel too much, that there must be too much bad to let the light through, someone amazing reminds you that the light far outweighs the darkness.
When it’s your son it’s even more magical.
So proud of Jack for creating this incredible house and dance event at raising £864.71 for - YES! That much 💥
Together, let’s make the world a better place

Something we can all do.
A call from for us to globally make an Economic impact.
What else can we do but respond to this call? It is simple. Money makes governments listen. We are reminded that we have some power to end this genocide.
It might take some forward planning, so have a good scroll through.
This global strike day doesn’t mean you have to stop working, but to stop the transactions that you make on this one day.
Buying train tickets in advance, changing direct debits, do what you can.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could actually change the world.
And please share widely so that together, we can make our voices heard 🙏✨🇵🇸🕊️

Our cat has a small injury.
But she loves being outside.
So, I bought a cat lead.
We got the hang of it together.
And now each day I practice what I have come to call Cat Mindfulness.
Nothing to do but follow her around.
Nowhere to be but in the garden.
She seems pretty calm too.

Over 80 000 good people on yet another Saturday calling for an end to arms sales to I3r&hell and to stop this genocide we are witnessing daily on our screens.
The heavy rain wasn’t going to put us off. And nor is the attempt to stop our protest and to instil fear into protestors.
Hearing crumbling voice - seeing her humanity oozing through I broke. We heard from so many incredible speakers. The tears flowed. The knowing that we are not alone and that our voices matter and that together we are part of a global movement which is bigger than we can perhaps imagine rang through the speeches. As did the grave thought that things are dark, and will get darker before change comes.
I remember so much of what I heard but this one repeats. ‘No indigenous people bomb their own land. They love their soil.’
People who inspired me and in case you don’t follow them:
This list is not exhaustive.
Seeing good humans amongst good humans.
A brief thank you as I walked past the incredible documenting in pictures this great movement.
A reminder that we must do all we can and that .divestment.sanctions will tell you who to boycott. After all, money matters.
Walking past the ‘counter protest’ (see last few slides 👉) to see a flashing sign letting us know to watch our words made me shout louder 🔥 honestly f**k being silent in the face of a genocide.
This is why. Another imprint from the speakers ‘when you drop your child at school, imagine the whole classroom of 27 children will be killed. And then imagine that happening every single day for almost two years.’
So we must march. We must write to our mps, share with our ‘racist uncle’, wear our keffiyehs.
See you on September 6th next. It’s a wonderful experience. Good people walking with good people.

I absolutely love practising and teaching yoga outside, and so given half the chance, that’s where I’ll be found in the summer months ☀️🌱
After a beautiful coffee and chat with Liv and Lauren of .studio.wellness some time ago now, they asked if I’d join their summer yoga festival as a guest teacher. Yes 🙌 was my response 🤸♀️
It’s tomorrow. There is so much to choose from and it promises to be an amazing day ✨
I have two practices, at 11 and again at 12.15pm. One based around a yin class and the other around a hatha practice to connect us to that energy that we can feel within.
I believe there are some tickets available, so maybe I will see you there 🙏🌸🌿

To commemorate the ongoing Nakba. To show our support and solidarity with Palestinian people. To be a human. To have a heart.
Where else to be?
Yes. This is hard to see. But we are seeing it and if you scroll 👉 we see major human rights and charities seeing it and ROARING STOP!
Why do I post as a ‘yoga teacher’? Because my practice doesn’t just let me hang onto ahimsa as meaning non violence as in no violent action and simply to wish for peace (a hugely privileged stance to take) , it also means to open eyes to the injustices of the word and to take positive action for peace.
How can a yoga practice help? Well. If you are paying attention to the world you might be rattled. In fact shouldn’t we be rattled, shouldn’t we be full of rage and passion? And love. Yes, always love. A yoga practice will let you feel all of these emotions. In your body, mind, spirit. And to come back to your centre time and time again. And from this place to take kind and positive action.
It’s 2025. How are any of us ok with the fact that children in Gaza. Families in Gaza, face starvation. Not because of famine or drought but because of forced starvation.
Feel the rage. Hurt. Anger. And then take your practice and take your action. Write to your mp, go on a rally, send some money to the many families who are asking for help, to the many charities that are asking for help.
Coming over the next two weeks is a guided yoga nidra from me to you, to help you take some rest if you can.
There is a national protest this weekend in London. See you there 🙏✊🇵🇸🕊️
I believe this beautiful installation was by and but I apologise if there were more who I haven’t mentioned.

🌸 How do we start our day?
In order to show up with an open heart and present mind to the challenges and joys of what lies ahead of us, turning inwards first is vital. Perhaps with the troubles of the world it’s more important than ever.
🌸 Today I chose to sit in the garden and listen to the sounds - all of the sounds - around me. When I opened my eyes after meditation everything seemed ALIVE 🌿☀️
I am considering a short meditation course at The Lodge to introduce some of the ways and practices of meditation that can be useful. Or to give you a space to practice if you already have dipped your toe in the waters.
With love for today.

This is my son Robin, who helped me create a website that I’m so proud of.
I love him more than words can ever say. Not just because of the website.

There is a ceasefire. Please let there be a real ceasefire and freedom for Palestinians.

ABOUT ME:
Yoga has been at my core for a lot of years now, and to be able to share my passion for yoga I took my teacher training with Katy Appleton of appleyoga in 2017. I’m really happy to be offering small classes and individual sessions at my yoga studio - The Lodge.
I started my journey in this field of complementary and alternative health over 7 years ago now, when I trained with Louise Keet at the London School of Reflexology in Regents College. I hold a level 3 diploma in Reflexology. I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. My practice has been established for over 6 years now.
My personal belief is that a holistic approach to health can provide a positive benefit to everyone.
A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR REFLEXOLOGY TREATMENT:
Your session will be an hour, with a 45 minute treatment, although please allow a little more time for your first visit when we will have a look at your medical background. We might also discuss some aspects of your lifestyle with you, for me to gain a more holistic view of you so that I can give you the best treatment possible and tailor what I do to your individual need.
All of your details will be treated with complete confidentiality.
The overall sensation is usually a relaxing and soothing one and I will work with you at a pace you feel comfortable with during our treatments. There may be discomfort in some places, which may be an indication of imbalance in the body. You may choose to sleep or rest your eyes during your treatment, or you may wish to talk. It is your time and space, and I want you to be comfortable enough to do whichever you would prefer.
