Our local provider Vaccination UK will be running NHS flu vaccine clinics in East Riding schools for children from Reception to Year 11 this half term.
The free vaccine is given as a quick and painless nasal spray (or injected vaccine if requested).

The Vaccination UK team are hosting parent/carer FAQ webinars via Microsoft Teams this Wednesday, 17 (8pm) and Thursday, 18 September (6pm).

Big Fun Day in Hillingdon: Promoting School-Aged Immunisations

We were thrilled to attend the Big Fun Day event in Hillingdon, which welcomed over 1,000 attendees from across the community. This vibrant gathering provided our biggest platform yet to promote school-aged immunisations, with a special focus on parents and carers of primary-aged children preparing to enter secondary education.

Our team engaged families in meaningful conversations, shared vital information, and helped enhance understanding of the key vaccines offered to secondary school students. By raising awareness in such a fun and accessible setting, we took a significant step toward improving uptake and ensuring young people are protected as they grow.

Another Milestone Achieved in Hounslow! 🎉

On the 19th August, our dedicated team proudly took part in the Children and Young People's Health Roadshow, where we had the opportunity to promote health awareness and provide vaccinations to young children.

We're deeply passionate about protecting the wellbeing of our youth and supporting the wider community.

We recently received this heart-warming feedback from a parent about one of our amazing nurses, Fiona, and we couldn’t resist sharing it.

The parent’s daughter had been extremely anxious about her vaccination, but thanks to Fiona’s patience, empathy, and encouragement, she was able to overcome her fears and successfully complete her vaccination.

Fiona took the time to listen, explain, and support both the child and parent, showing exactly what compassionate care looks like in practice. 💙

Aimed at Year 6 pupils preparing to transition into secondary education, the session covered all key vaccinations they’ll encounter throughout their school years.
