We had a fantastic time at the Health Promotion Half Term Activity Day at Scarborough Library last week!

It was wonderful to see so many families drop in to take part in activities, learn more about staying healthy, and chat with our team. Events like this are a great opportunity to share trusted health information in a relaxed, fun environment - especially during the school holidays when children are excited to get involved.

Sharing a moment from a recent vaccination session at a school in Hounslow 🙂

In this video, you’ll see one of our nurses supporting children who were feeling a little anxious.Vaccinations can feel overwhelming for some children, and it’s important to us at Vaccination UK, that we acknowledge those feelings and respond with patience and understanding. This was a real team effort - taking the time to talk and reassure each child to feel as comfortable as possible.

A great example of empathy in action and of a team that works together to make challenging moments that little bit easier. 😍

We had a wonderful visit to an independent Islamic faith school in Barnet for a health promotion session with children and their parents.

It was fantastic to see such great engagement from families, with thoughtful questions, open conversations, and a shared commitment to keeping children healthy and protected. Creating a safe, welcoming space to talk about vaccinations and wellbeing is at the heart of what we do at Vaccination UK, and this school community truly embraced that.

Great to see Sky News highlighting the importance of tackling the current measles outbreak.

We’re proud that Vaccination UK teams are on the ground supporting communities and helping to deliver the measles vaccine on behalf of NHS where it’s needed most.

📌 Only 1 in 2 people know cervical cancer can be caused by HPV.
📌 Even fewer know HPV can cause other cancers.
📌 3 in 4 people would get a vaccine to reduce their cancer risk — if they knew it reduced the risk of multiple cancers.
