Our Mum Fit Club lead by .pt is going really well… every Tuesday and Friday, 12.30–13.30. A small group, a good mix of training, chats and just getting it done in a relaxed, supportive space.

If you fancy getting involved, it’s £10 per session and open to all levels… whether you’re just starting out or getting back into it.

Charlie gives us the run down on how to use the leg press here at . It’s a great bit of equipment for building lower body strength in a controlled way, especially if you’re looking to work on your quads, glutes and overall leg strength without overloading your back.

As always, it’s not just about loading it up… position, control and range of motion all make a big difference.

Easter bank holiday is nearly done… and we’ve had some lovely bursts of sunshine to go with it ☀️ Hopefully you’ve been out and about making the most of it.

This is always the time of year where things start to shift a bit. We get more active, spend more time outside… and often notice those old aches and pains are still there. That back that keeps twinging, the knee that feels a bit wobbly, shoulders that never quite loosen off.

Now is a really good time to start doing something about it.

Longer days, better weather, a bit more motivation… it all helps. But having the right structure and guidance makes the biggest difference.

Did you know that members who train with us can also add access to the FM studio outside of their 1:1 sessions?

It’s an optional extra you can add to your membership, giving you the flexibility to come and go as it suits you, fit in extra sessions, and train in a calm, private space without waiting around for equipment.

It’s a great way to build consistency alongside your coached sessions, with the added confidence of knowing exactly what you’re doing.

A good thing about having a personal trainer, rather than going it alone, is having someone there who actually notices the small things. If you’re using a machine slightly off, your posture isn’t quite right, or something doesn’t feel as it should… we’ll pick it up straight away.

Basically to make sure you’re getting the most out of what you’re doing and, more importantly, not putting yourself at risk of injury.

It’s often those small adjustments that make the biggest difference over time… helping you move better, feel stronger and train with more confidence. If you’re thinking of starting your journey to long term good health and movement, drop us a message.

It’s important to strength train at any age… but especially as we get older. It’s not just about lifting weights or how it looks. It’s about staying strong for everyday life. Supporting your joints, protecting your body, and being able to move well without aches holding you back.

We see it a lot… people come in unsure, thinking they’ve “left it too late” or that they need to already be fit. You don’t. Strength can be built at any stage. It just needs the right approach, at the right pace, for your body.
