Did you know that regular gentle movement can actually protect your joints?

Activities like walking, swimming, or stretching keep joints flexible, reducing stiffness and the risk of long-term pain.
Just 10–15 minutes a day makes a difference! 💙

Did you know? January is Glaucoma Awareness Month!

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that can damage the optic nerve, often linked to increased eye pressure.

It’s sometimes called the ‘silent thief of sight’ because it can develop slowly with few noticeable symptoms, making regular eye check-ups essential.

Follow these top tips to protect your eye health:
• Get your eyes tested regularly, especially after age 40
• Maintain a healthy lifestyle e.g. balanced diet, regular exercise
• Protect your eyes from injuries and UV light

Early detection can help preserve vision and prevent unnecessary sight loss. 💙

While everyone’s experience of dementia is unique, there are some common early signs to watch for.

Changes in memory, confusion, or difficulty with everyday tasks can all be early indicators.

If you notice these symptoms regularly in a loved one, it’s important to speak to their GP and arrange an assessment.

Early support can make a real difference. 💙

Spot the signs of glaucoma early! 👁️

Glaucoma can sneak up without warning. Some possible signs include:
• Gradual loss of peripheral (side) vision
• Blurred or hazy vision
• Seeing halos around lights
• Eye pain or headaches (less common)

If you notice any changes in your vision, it’s important to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist promptly.

Remember: regular eye tests are the best way to catch glaucoma early and protect your sight.
