Please remember this is today at 3pm. For some women in abusive relationships, a hidden phone can be a lifeline. You can turn off the notification on an iphone by going into settings>notifications>scroll to the very bottom>switch off extreme and/or severe alerts
Android: search your settings for emergency alerts>turn off extreme/severe alerts

🚨 Nationwide Emergency Alert Test🚨

This Sunday 7th September 3pm.

The UK’s new emergency alert system will send a loud siren, message, and vibration to every compatible phone even on silent. Survivors of abuse with hidden phones could be put at risk if the device is discovered.

You can opt out in your phone’s settings to protect your safety.
✅ iPhone: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts
✅ Android: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts (and other threat categories if listed)

I did it!! 🥳 It has been a tough 6 months trying to juggle all that I needed to do - coursework, assignments and supervision hours, but I’m proud to say I’ve done it! Looking forward to adding this new skill to my practice 🤩

This has been my Saturday! Starting the exciting journey of training to be a Clinical Supervisor! I’ve wanted to do this for years but now finally seems like the right time. I was super nervous before I started and was aware of all that negative self-talk about whether I could do it or not, but I know how much learning can come from stepping outside your comfort zone, and so, on I went! Now I’m just looking forward to more learning over the next few months 😊📚

When did you last step outside your comfort zone and how did it feel?

I am so guilty of thinking I should have done more with my year when in fact, when I truly take time to reflect, there have been glimmers of beautiful progress all along ❤️
