Bonnie and Lymes
So Bonnie is one of my own horses and I have been on a journey with her these last couple of years with her health. I have owned her since a foal so I know her history.
It all started a couple of years ago when I sent her away to be sold, after a couple of days at arriving at the yard she broke out in hives, she was too far away for me to deal with it so the vet was called and she was given steroids, the hives cleared up until the steroids stopped and they came back again, to use this treatment goes against what I do and what I believe is best for my horse, so she was sent back home to me.
I then treated her with bioresonance therapy and treated her liver and pancreas.
Poor function of the liver, pancreas and gall bladder are responsible for hives, although yes there is a trigger that causes an immune response hence the hives but if the organs are functioning properly there would be no immune response, horses do not have a gall bladder but this would be the case in people.
After her treatment for the hives Bonnie then started having strange abdominal oedema and her front left foreleg developed swelling and scabs and started to weep clear yellow fluid. She also showed symptoms of PSSM, with muscle tension and back pain.
After doing some research abdominal oedema is a sign of chronic blood disorders, so it wasn’t a surprise to me when I did the RAYOSCAN the blood system came up the top, I then went on the do the in depth scan of the blood system, which then gave me the correct treatment program to run.
Top of the list of pathogens to run was Borrelia Burgdorferi which is LYMES DISEASE. I have been running her treatment program and thank goodness her leg has healed up and swellings and back tension gone. I tested her for PSSM2 and it was negative.
She is now back happy and healthy and back to work. Can I just say if your horse has hives or Borrelia they are really unwell.
I have know idea how long she has suffered with Lymes but I believe this is what brought on the hives because of compromising the liver and immune system and since this I have found other horses with the same problems - hives, blood system and Borrelia.
