🌎Today is world menopause day, so let’s talk about the connection between your gut, hormones and this transformative stage of life.

Whatever stage you are at in your journey with menopause, it’s good to understand the crucial role gut health plays and how it impacts our overall hormonal health. And how to make our gut and hormonal superheroes work together to keep us strong, balanced, and thriving! 🌱

Did you know that your gut and hormones have a secret alliance? Your gut is not only the center of digestion but also plays a significant role in hormone regulation! The gut microbiome interacts with our endocrine system, impacting hormone production, metabolism, and even mood.

As we enter the stages of perimenopause and menopause, our bodies undergo hormonal shifts. The decrease in estrogen levels affects the gut microbiome, leading to potential change. These changes can influence the gut microbiome balance, affecting digestion, nutrient absorption, mood, energy levels and immune function. Fear not, for our superpowers can help maintain balance and ease the transition!
