We are delighted to welcome former patients of Williams Optometrists. Following the sad closure of the practice all the patients records have now been released by the receivers and are being securely transferred to the Thundersley branch of Karen Castle Opticians.
We expect this to be completed within the next fortnight.
We look forward to continuing your optical care as we have done for our existing patients for the last 35 years.

We’re celebrating 35 years since the Thundersley practice opened with an Open Day on Thursday 12 th March!

To celebrate we have the whole Wolf Eyewear range of frames, free styling consultations with £35 off every pair ordered and bubbles while you choose !

Plus free OCT scans and prescription checks on the day, and a raffle to win a pair of varifocal lenses .

Did you know champagne corks can be the cause of some very serious eye injuries? So uncork with care ! Ideally you should cover the exposed cork with a towel and twist the bottle whilst pressing down on the cork.

We currently have a vacancy for a part time receptionist and admin assistant at our Thundersley practice.
Fridays and Saturdays plus cover as required.
Receptionist experience preferable, good organisational and computer skills essential. Applicants must have a pleasant manner, be presentable and capable of dealing with the general public. Full training given.

As we seem to have caused some confusion (!!) just to confirm that Karen Castle the optician is still working full time seeing patients and a long way off retirement despite owning the Thundersley practice for 30 years - it was our receptionist Karen who retired recently ! We now have a new receptionist called Debbie.
