Taken in my garden this morning. There’s something really very tender about the first signs of spring.

Small shoots. Quiet colour. A gentle return of light.

New beginnings don’t have to be dramatic.
Sometimes they are simply allowing yourself a little more space, a little more kindness, a little more hope.

Love this AI caricature of me at work 😂 so serene. My clients will know this isn’t always the case!! As much as AI imagery can be used to create ‘harmless fun’ like this image, it can also cause confusion and concern and not necessarily in the wrong hands. Always be kind and remember how you would feel when posting imagery or photos of others. Social media can be used for a great tool or a weapon depending on the beholder.

✨ Christmas & Year-End Reflection ✨

As the year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank each and every client who has trusted me with their story this year.

To sit alongside people in moments of vulnerability, courage, grief, growth and change is a true privilege. Your openness, honesty and willingness to do the work does not go unnoticed, and I hold immense respect for the trust you place in Wood Willow Counselling.

I’ll now be taking a short break to rest and recuperate, so that I can return grounded, present and ready to support you.

🌿 Sessions will resume from Tuesday 6th January 🌿

Until then, I wish you a gentle Christmas period — whatever that looks like for you — and thank you again for allowing me to walk alongside you.

Warmest wishes,
Chloé 🤍

Between December 2nd and December 8th is National Grief Week 2025

Grief is often shown as a tidy set of “stages”…
but the reality feels much more like this image —
a swirl of emotions that don’t follow any rules.

There’s no right way to grieve.
No timeline.
No order you’re supposed to move through.
Just your own human experience, moment by moment.

If your grief feels messy, unpredictable or nothing like the diagrams you’ve seen…
you’re not doing it wrong. You’re doing your best.

This week is a reminder that you don’t have to carry it alone.
At Wood Willow Counselling, I offer a calm and supportive space to explore your grief at your own pace — whether it’s recent, long-standing, or something you’re still learning to understand.

If things feel heavy right now, please reach out.
Support is here. 🤍
