What does acupuncture and angelic reiki feel like?

I’ve been receiving treatment with Rachel for over a month and it has really shifted my energy and got me back into feeling motivated and a lot less hopeless, we have done a mixture of cranial, acupuncture and angelic Reiki. The cranial was to heal past traumas, I felt that definitely shifted something to make me feel more supported. Then the acupuncture to shift some of the energy which I feel has been stuck for a while. The release I feel from this is amazing, like a gold ribbon flying out of all the points where she puts the tiniest needle. It doesn’t hurt at all, they are the gauge of a baby’s hair. Then lastly the angelic reiki has been like a beaming light of something or someone holding me, a safe space where Rachel channels angels through me. To come and guide me along my path to internal peace and freedom from Intrusive thoughts. She really has changed my life. Also through her just being there and listening, book recommendations to help me on my newly found spiritual awakening. Thank you Rachel!

If you want a more natural approach to your health, and this level of detailed attention to what's been bothering you, I'd love to help.

When you see clearly what's going on -the process- rather than just a "diagnosis" there's so much more hope and ways forward.

Our mind can create great catastrophes and dramas from things that are quite normal and usually temporary.

Pain is designed to get our attention, because it's communication.

A message.

If you're not sure what your pain is asking you to change, I can translate that into something you can understand and use.

Naturally.

Avoiding it, makes your body much more protective and likely to produce more pain signals to get your attention.

It just wants to be heard.

Then it can relax and you can get on with life in a better way 🩷

So what might or functional movement look like?

This is a great short flow from ground to standing. Very Feldie-inspired.

Much of it is based on developmental movements we did as we grew from our baby days to crawling, toddling and walking.

Slow it down if you're practicing.

Smoothness not speed.

Beautiful movement FEELS good.

That's how your body tells you you're moving well.

Let go of stretching and straining. There are other ways to be in the world 🌍

When you get back pain, what do you go to as your first response?

If the answer is "stretching", you could probably get better results learning some different approaches.

While it might feel that tightness in muscles is the enemy, it's often a natural compensation response from your body.

So there are other ways that engage the neuromuscular system to reduce tension.

One of my favourites is Feldenkrais method, which works to integrate the body-mind-movement and create better habits and increases our awareness.

Actually upgrading our operating system and programming.

Often the first thing I do with new patients is start to address their movement patterns to become more "whole body" or integrated.

🧩 Try bending forwards and see what happens to your head and your knees, you'll get some useful insights.

🧩 Because if you're habitually locking out your knees when you want to bend- you're blocking the ability of your spine to flex.

🧩 If you discover your head and neck are cocked up, rather than dangling relaxed- you may be habitually keeping your spine locked from releasing from the top.

So your back issues could be much more linked up other areas of the body and how you use, tense or hold these.

Without realising.

Hi there, a little apology for the website having had security issues. Now all fixed and secure to visit with some more on my Feng Shui consulting.

If you've ever experienced back spasms, I've written about it in my blog. From a personal perspective and as a back specialist.

In Feng Shui, it's all about the numbers.. and this year, being a 1, is the start of a whole new period. Which means a huge RESET opportunity: for our homes, careers, relationships, lives. Everything we shed, in leaving the Wood Snake energy of 2025, creates space for the Fire Horse 🐎 to enter.
How has this felt for you in 2026 so far?
I'm really feeling the call to clean and freshen up my house in Crich. Since qualifying as a feng shui consultant, I'm much more aware of de-cluttering to influence the Chi, the energy and vibration I'm getting from my surroundings. Winter Monday morning (rainy) routine ❤️
As a yoga teacher, it always saddens me that many people are put off trying yoga. Often by fear of not being able to do it.
There are so many types that there is definitely something for you..
If you'd like a personal recommendation, just ask.

To me, it means being (in my body), really immersed in all my senses, honouring ancient wisdom and spiritual practices that we need now more than ever to remind us to breathe, to let go and be present. Not in my head.

Being present really is the gift 🎁

I love learning, so love doing classes with other teachers.
And so the living thread of yoga continues on.

Me and India can highly recommend the lovely geordie- Jo Hutton and her cat in front of a fire. In a room full of others in their jimjams, still half asleep.
It's a great way to start the day. And as it says on the tin- designed for people who want a gentler class.
