As the natural next step after cycling, the S800 offers an intuitive experience with familiar controls, featuring thumb throttle combined with hand-operated brakes. Enjoy comfortable rides over any terrain with top-tier suspension and an ergonomic seating position, made possible by the legroom beneath the handlebars. The S800 combines familiar bike-like handlebars, brake handles, and a thumb throttle for intuitive, confident driving control. Featuring an open-frame design and crafted with 100% recyclable EPP material parts, it combines modern aesthetics with stability and comfort for a smooth, enjoyable ride. The S800 outdoor mobility scooter promises to be a game-changer in the market.

Navigate effortlessly with the familiar bicycle-style handlebar, equipped with intuitive controls. Thanks to the thumb throttle and hand-operated brakes (including cruise control), you can easily switch between accelerating and braking, ensuring full control at all times. The large colour display, featuring NFC-tag locking technology, provides a modern user experience. The Scoozy S comes equipped with a standard lithium battery offering a range of 50 km, allowing you to drive longer without worrying about recharging. The battery is cleverly positioned in the footplate, providing ample legroom while lowering the centre of gravity. The display shows the remaining battery capacity, so you always know exactly how much range you have left.

The Scoozy S features four large 18-inch wheels with striking rims, which not only add style but also enhance stability and comfort on any type of road. Whether you're cruising through the city or exploring a nature trail, the trail tyres provide extra grip on muddy and slippery slopes. FAQs
Can the S800 be folded?
Yes, the S800 can be partially folded for easier transport or storage.

Folding parts: The backrest and steering column can be folded.
Removable parts: The basket, headrest, and seat can be removed without tools.
Can I drive on the beach with the S800?
We strongly advise against using the S800 on the beach and other environments with loose sand. We have tested this extensively. For beach use, you would need wider tires to prevent sinking into the loose sand. Additionally, fine sand can enter moving parts and cause extra wear. Seawater is also detrimental to the product due to its corrosive effects. All of this will negatively impact the lifespan of the S800.

How far can I drive with the S800?
The lithium battery offers a range of up to 50 km, allowing for long rides without frequent recharging. Intermediate charging does not harm the battery. The battery is strategically placed in the footplate, enhancing both stability and foot space. Additionally, the battery is equipped with a heating element, making it possible to use and charge it at temperatures below freezing

Can I adjust the S800 ergonomically to suit my preferences?
Yes, the S800 offers extensive ergonomic adjustment options. You can adjust the seat height, seat position (forward/backward), backrest angle, and the height of the armrests. The steering column is adjustable in both angle and position, and the seat can swivel. Additionally, the smart Klickfix adapter points provide extra customization options for a personal touch.

How do I operate the S800?
The S800 is controlled using the thumb throttle to regulate speed. You can also optionally use the cruise control. On the control panel, you can operate the indicators, horn, speed levels, and the forward/reverse settings

I've been thinking a lot about the future and of course the industry i work in.

The Future of Mobility Scooters: A Glimpse Ahead

1. Advancements in Technology
Mobility scooters have come a long way from their humble beginnings as aids for personal mobility. As we step into an era of autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence (AI), it’s reasonable to anticipate these technologies becoming prevalent in mobility scooter design. Here are some key trends and possibilities:

2. Autonomous Features
Imagine a mobility scooter that can navigate itself through crowded streets, avoiding obstacles and adjusting its speed based on the environment. Autonomous driving technology could revolutionize mobility scooters, making them safer and more efficient. These scooters might even communicate with traffic lights and other vehicles to optimize their routes.

3. Electric and Green Solutions
The shift toward electrification is already underway, and mobility scooters are no exception. Electric scooters are quieter, emit zero emissions, and are more cost-effective to operate. As battery technology improves, we can expect longer ranges and faster charging times for these scooters.

4. Connectivity and Integration
Smart mobility scooters could be part of a larger connected ecosystem. Imagine scooters that provide real-time data on traffic conditions, weather, and available parking spaces. Integration with smartphone apps could allow users to locate nearby charging stations, plan routes, and receive maintenance alerts.

5. Design and Ergonomics
Future mobility scooters may feature sleek designs, lightweight materials, and customizable options. Improved ergonomics, adjustable seating, and intuitive controls will enhance user comfort and accessibility. Foldable or modular designs could make storage and transport easier.

6. Safety Innovations
Safety remains a top priority. We might see features like collision avoidance systems, adaptive lighting, and emergency braking. Additionally, AI algorithms could analyse user behaviour and adjust scooter settings to prevent accidents.

7. Urban Air Mobility (cant see this one, but thought i would throw it in the mix)
While not exclusive to scooters, the rise of urban air taxis and personal drones could impact mobility options. Imagine a scenario where you hop off (no Pun Intended) your scooter and seamlessly transition to an air taxi for longer distances.

8. Sustainability and Circular Economy
Manufacturers may focus on sustainable materials and recycling processes. Circular economy principles could extend the lifespan of scooters, reduce waste, and promote responsible disposal.

9. Customization and Personalization
Users already choose from a range of scooter styles, colours, and accessories. Personalized scooters could become a fashion statement, reflecting individual preferences and lifestyles.

10. Inclusive Design
As mobility scooters become more integrated into urban landscapes, designers will prioritize inclusivity. Accessible pathways, ramps, and scooter-friendly infrastructure will ensure that everyone can move freely. To be fair everywhere should be currently accessible, but future proofing paths and access should be a priority.

Conclusion
The future of mobility scooters holds immense promise. As technology continues to evolve, these scooters will become smarter, greener, and more user-friendly. Whether it’s autonomous features, connectivity, or safety innovations, the road ahead is exciting for both scooter users and the broader community.

Remember, the future isn’t just about scooters—it’s about creating a seamless, intelligent, and environmentally friendly mobility ecosystem for all.
