It’s more than a month now since I came back from the most wonderful, rejuvenating and reinvigorating week in Norfolk... but isn’t it easy to get wrapped up in the ‘busy-ness’ of life and forget all the things that you planned to do when you suddenly have MORE TIME?
Holidays and breaks give us those blue sky moments, a look over the parapet, how things could be without a constant to do list, agenda, appointments and meetings, but whatever our time constraints... living, happiness, is now and can’t be put off until we magically have ‘more time’...we need those blue sky moments in the every day.
Whilst I was away I had a really big think about what is important to me in yoga - from the miriad of potential benefits - right now.
The thing I came away with (quite apart from the physical benefits of increased strength, mobility and balance) is the holistic - whole body - experience.
The feeling that you can’t quite categorise - you just feel better... head, body, inside, outside, top to toe - that for me comes from a combination of yoga poses, breathwork and uncomplicated, easy and accessible meditation which gives me time to notice and reflect.
A little blue sky moment on the mat.
So once a month, our Wednesday classes are slowing down, along the way we will do some breathwork, meditation and yin-inspired yoga.
The feedback from our first Yin-inspired class in October was lovely... from “slept better” to “amazeballs”!
This is your invitation to join us for our next Yin-Inspired and Yoga Nidra next Wednesday 29 November at 7 pm on Zoom. (Message me for the link, £4.50 for non-members drop in) ❤️
