Please note that our e-Consult system will now be closed from Friday at 6:30pm until Monday at 8:00am.
During this time, e-Consults cannot be submitted. The system will reopen as normal on Monday morning.
If you need urgent medical advice while we are closed, please contact NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.

With the current snow and icy conditions, we kindly ask patients to allow extra time for travel to the surgery.
Roads and pavements may be slippery, so please take care and travel safely.
If you think you may be late or unable to attend your appointment, please contact the surgery as soon as possible.

Please be aware that our eConsult system will switch off from 6:30pm tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and will reopen on Monday 29th December at 8:00am.

If you have an urgent medical problem on Wednesday evening, please do not submit an eConsult, as it may not be reviewed until Monday morning.

For urgent help, please call 111 or 999 in an emergency.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR OPENING HOURS 2025

Dear patients,
Please find our opening hours below for over the festive period. Please ensure prescriptions are ordered by Monday 22nd to receive them before christmas day.
If you do forget to order your medication, you can go into any pharmacy and get an emergency supply.

An excellent event set up by Nowhere.

Once again we will be opening on boxing day for our annual Holme Alone day. Complementary nibbles and refreshments will be available along with films in our cinema room.

This was a great day last year, with lots of lovely faces coming along to spend boxing day with us. If any local businesses would like to help out or contribute please get in touch!

HOLME ALONE BOXING DAY?

If you find yourself alone over Christmas. Nowhere, Holmfirth are providing refreshments, seasonal nibbles and movies for the public. This is a free event.
Everyone is welcome.
Nowhere will be open between 12:00pm - 17:00pm on 26th December 2025.

📢 Flu Vaccines Still Available for Under-65s

We still have a limited number of flu vaccines for patients under 65. If you are eligible, please contact the practice to book your appointment as soon as possible.

If you’re unsure about your eligibility, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to check for you.

As the colder months set in, many families in our community are facing extra challenges. This winter, we’re supporting our local food bank to help ensure no one goes without the essentials.

If you’re able to donate, we’re gratefully accepting items such as:

🥫 Sauces and cooking ingredients

You can drop donations off in the collection box in our main entrance during surgery opening hours.
