Physical sunscreen ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide contain large particles that safely remain within the stratum corneum (outer dead layer of skin) When choosing sunscreen filters, AlumierMD chooses these ingredients because they have no skin absorption and have an excellent safety record.
