A Song of Sound, Light & Freedom
Sound and light is everything. The frequencies of each combine to create our physical world. There are frequencies we cannot hear and there are colours we cannot see, they are beyond our current physical ability to perceive them but in meditation, we can break through the barriers of limitation and begin to see all when we become conscious of our Spirit body.
When we hear a truly inspiring piece of music, we are not only hearing the physical sound but we are also ‘feeling’ the light which emanates from it. Light is not just something to be seen and sound is not just something to be heard. It is the ‘feeling’ of both which creates a transformative process. Yes, the physical body experiences this but the true experiencer and interpreter of its message is the Soul.
When our consciousness experiences things at Soul level, our base human traits become secondary to such experiences. Take this as an example;
It can be argued that right now, humanity has never been more divided and there are good reasons for this. The main one is that collectively, we all have to learn some very tough lessons. One of those lessons is to reach a level of consciousness where we cease to believe that politics is the way to solve humanity’s problems. Politics does not concern itself with the Spirit and daily, this is becoming more and more evident. The harsh reality is that there is no ‘side of the fence,’ no political saviours. No amount of begging and hoping and giving away our power will change the fact that the current or next elected set are coming to undo the wrongs of the last elected set. They are simply not interested.
In my lifetime of 60 years, not once has any political party done what it said it would do other than to create a wider sense of division, poverty, mistrust and deceit. Until we radically alter our level of conscious perception, as one of my Guides stated, “Things will keep being played back to us over and over again like a stuck record until we get it.”
Is there any hope at all then? The clue lies in what my Guide said. “Until we get it!”
I have witnessed something which unites us all and can bring us together like no other and that is music. Music connects with the Soul and speaks to us. It engages us in its message. It heals. Whole halls and stadiums full of people from all walks of life, all different backgrounds and cultures coming together in song and dance. No need to speak, no need to be anything other than a Soul experiencer of the joy and magic which sound and light can bring within a given moment in time. True collective consciousness sharing a Soul enriching moment. In these times, this surely proves to us that we have the potential to come together as one, both in the physical and in the Soul, simultaneously.
Compare the language of politics to the language of sound and light. Which feels right to you? Which language inspires you? Which language holds the most meaning to you? Which language connects you, not only to others but to yourself?
I became inspired to write this piece through music. It jogged my memory of good times, my Soul remembered that creation is beautiful. The song is called “Hors D’Oeuvres” from the album, Stormcock by a man whose music inspired me in my mid-teens to use my voice and to play guitar. His name is Roy Harper and in it he sings;
“Well you can lead a horse to water
But you're never gonna make him drink
And you can lead a man to slaughter
But you're never gonna make him think”
Until we consciously connect with our Souls, until we ‘get it,’ those words will remain the bedrock for humanity to continue building political foundations which are always doomed to crumble and fall.
It is time to rebuild but how do we do it?
The foundations for a new civilisation must be built from the Soul rather than on the vacuous words and deeds of those who neither acknowledge the higher consciousness nor allow its wisdom to speak through them. When this happens, the transformation will be truly incredible.
Do not project your hope towards others to make the change, do not beg for it on your knees, do not cast your power away with a cross and let others take responsibility.
The old world energy is fading faster each day. Now, in this present moment is the time to be the architect, be the builder, be a part of history in which you will be remembered as one of the ancients who assisted in bringing the greatest spiritual change ever witnessed to our beautiful Earth.
It may sound like an overwhelming task but a simple positive thought when combined collectively and with intention, becomes a powerful energy of manifestation. We are all the composers of the song which will see humanity realise its highest spiritual potential.
Time to sing it out loud…
