Hi folks!

Anyone know the best platform to use for a runner in the London Marathon to use for collecting sponsorships for a charity. I've heard Just Giving charge and not all the money goes to the charity nominated.

(And no, don't be daft lol, I am not running a marathon 🤣 I'm just organizing the fundraising for someone doing it to help Matthew's school!)

If you know me, you'll know that I have always loved traffic lights. One of the first things I learnt to say once I regained speech was "Green arrow for us, Red for them" at the confusing filter lights at Rudgeway. Most of my childhood was spent making mini traffic lights out of lollipop sticks and paper - when I was a bit older I moved on to using laminated ones Mummy helped me print on the computer. I will be 18 this year and my biggest dream has always been to own a working traffic light head. The type I am looking for is a Siemens or Peek Elite (which are halogens or LEDs) rather than a Mellor. I can't afford the prices on eBay and I'm concerned about them being a scam, so I'm hoping to find one another way.

I saw someone on You Tube manage to get one by asking the person actually removing the old lights during roadworks, if I could have the old one. This is really difficult for me to do and the one time I tried, they said I had to phone their company. My Mum helped me do this but the company said they send old ones back to where they hire them from.

Do any of you know of any other way I could find one, or knows anyone with contacts that might be able to help, or might know someone who can. I had hoped my Dad might be able to help but he said he didn't have any ideas or contacts. We could drive to collect it so it doesn't have to be particularly local.

Hi!

For one month, I will be doing ‘hubcapping’ with a moustache!! Eeek!

Have you heard of Movember? It’s a play on words combing moustache and November. Every year, people grow moustaches for the month and hope that people will sponsor them or donate a little bit of money to the registered charity. The help they have thousands of people is so important, not to mention the awareness they raise for all sorts of men’s health issues. Even at 17, I’ve already experienced mental health challenges so it really shows that help is needed all over the country/world. Please donate even a small amount if you can, but I completely understand if you can’t and would still appreciate you sharing my page to others! I’ve donated this week’s pocket money so far. THANK YOU!
