Hello friends and fellow slimmers!
Something exciting happened this week! I got Slimmer of the Week in group. I asked Helen, my superstar social team lady to sign it for me; and trust me, this felt so darned good!
The tracker below is my journey from the last 8 weeks. If you are anything like me, you'll home in on the less-than-perfect-weeks🧐. You'll see that even us experts in food optimising have blips, trips, and slips. There are maintains and yes, a few gains in there. And that is exactly what I want you to see. It's reality. It's life. Did I quit? No! Did I get annoyed at times? Hell, yeah!
The positives here are clear too; if we really follow the plan, it really works, and the losses are really good.
I'm sharing this so you see that it's progress not perfection that matters. And it is this message that I share in group. Mindset will change daily. Motivation can fade with the weather.
But the Slimming World magazine recently expressed it best:
Instead of working from, and expecting it to always start from: MOTIVATION➡️ACTION➡️RESULTS
Take control with:
ACTION➡️RESULTS➡️MOTIVATION
So remember, if putting the cart before the horse isn't working, try switching up where you put the emphasis.
