Okay.. you may realise that our Holyhead Slimming World group is a bit.. unusual? Is that the word? Actually though, whatever the word, it's also fun, supportive, inspirational, buzzy and tackles the obstacles and barriers to our weight loss journeys. We all have those too.

By treating your journey as a series of learning curves, and not a perfect linear track, and being part of a group of like minded people, you WILL increase your likelihood of success. Lose weight, and learn how to keep it off for good.

Welcome to our incredible Holyhead Slimming World group. We help people to improve their health, get more active, and to lose weight - all whilst being able ti enjoy mouth-wateringly, tasty meals like this chip shop style curry n' rice!

You can find us every THURSDAY in Llaingoch Community Hall, with sessions at 9.30am, 11.00am, 5.30pm & 7.00pm

So my menopause brain meant that I put the Greatest Loser Certificates in a 'safe place' and lost them 🫣🤭 I had no choice but to re-order...

So now, I am proud and delighted to announce our Greatest Loser Awards 2026 🥳 With incredible losses ranging from 4 stone 11 up to 7 stone 1.5, this fab four have truly undergone life-changing transformations 🥰.

Peach melba overnight oats. 1.5 swips for the Vanilla Alpro yoghurt (I used 1/3 of a large pot, which is 4 swips).

I feel certain that I wouldn't be walking today if it wasnt for Tracy, Darren, Bethan, Gwil, and Kirsty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for helping with packing up the group last night. Had I done that myself, it would've taken a lot longer, my leg pain would have been much worse, and I wouldn't have been able to waddle into Asda afterwards, and get a bag of stirfry and some bread for Bobby's lunch.

Friendship makes anything possible - and thats why together in group we are unstoppable!

Yup, tomorrow its almost not a consolation prize - it's group day with Netty. I can almost hear the cheers of my members; im just not sure if it's cheers of delight, or of derision... 😉😂
