I had the privilege of delivering two interactive workshops at University Medical Center of El Paso: “Clinical Application of Neurodynamics for Upper Limb and Hand Entrapment Pathologies” and “Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC) First Contact Rehabilitation”.
These sessions were attended by approximately 70 Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and assistants from across the region.
As I approach a decade in the United Kingdom, and six years as a Consultant Hand Therapist within the NHS, it was a fulfilling experience to return to the institution where my journey began.
University Medical Center of El Paso, a non-profit public hospital, also serves as the sole Level 1 Trauma Center for the borderland area covering a 270-mile radius. The continual stream of helicopters is reminder of the pivotal role the organisation plays to the community.
