Happy International Women’s Day! 💜

Never did I imagine the NDP team would grow and blossom the way it has. What started as a small vision has become a team of 13 incredibly talented therapists and reception staff — and I feel so grateful every day to be surrounded by such inspiring women.

Each of them brings their own energy, compassion, skill and knowledge to the clinic, and together they create something really special for our patients and for each other. Watching this team support, uplift and empower one another has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

NCU U16 U18 Tour to SA 2026

Julia was asked to join the NCU (Northern Cricket Union) U16 and U18 Girls Squads for their tour to Cape Town, South Africa.

Julia was there on professional duties as Physio, however her daughter Rebecca was also playing too.

A mix of cricket and sightseeing, this has been a trip of a lifetime for these young girls, and the management team.

Our amazing Hand Therapist, Michelle, has been on her travels once again, speaking at the International Hand Therapy Symposium in Dubai.

Michelle is an expert in her field, treating a wide range of conditions and injuries such as:

Sporting hand injuries, carpal tunnel, arthritis, post surgery, fractures, trigger finger, dupuytrens, repetitive strain injuries, nerve injuries and scars.

What a lovely (and emotional!) night the NDP family had at Neil’s Hill last night 💕

We came together to say a fond farewell to three of our amazing and talented team members.

👶 Helen – our wonderful physio – we’re wishing you all the best as you get ready to welcome baby number three!

🌏 Holly – another of our fab physios – safe travels and happy new beginnings as you jet off to New Zealand to start your next adventure.

💐 Gillian – our lovely front-of-house star who so many of you know and love. After 13 years with NDP, we’ve shared so many special milestones together. Mondays and Tuesdays just won’t be the same without you!

Great to see Regent House School, in Newtownards, taking sports-related concussions seriously.
Unfortunately, concussions are a risk in sport, but it’s vital they’re managed properly.

If your child has sustained a concussion—whether mild or more significant—it’s essential they follow the medically supervised GRTP (Graduated Return to Play) protocol, which carefully monitors symptoms as they ease back into activity. Taking the recommended 3 weeks off is key to giving the developing brain time to recover fully.

For those experiencing ongoing symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, or brain fog, our physio Erica specialises in CST (Cranio-Sacral Therapy) for chronic concussion and may be able to help. If you would like further information, please give us a ring on 02890425517.

Requirements:
• Chartered Physiotherapist with HCPC registration
• 3+ years’ experience post-graduation
• Previous private practice experience is desirable

• Flexible day and evening clinics
• Opportunity to progress to full-time
