🎄 It was a joy to be able to welcome residents’ families and friends along to our Christmas buffet at Richmond Nursing Home on Thursday.
Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoyed the food and festivities.
Thank you also to Aaron Williamson from Holywood Baptist church who came along with some of his congregation to hold a carol service in the afternoon too.
A lovely festive time was had by all who were able to attend🎄

We are celebrating the cultural diversity within our team this week. The staff shared their traditional dress and dance with the residents, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

A bittersweet day yesterday as it was Arlene's last day working as Wilmont Dementia Support. Over the last seven years, our residents have enjoyed her visits and benefited so much from them. We've had lots of laughs, a few tears but we hope an enduring friendship. Like we said yesterday "It's not goodbye, it's just adieu". We wish Arlene well as she embarks on her new adventure with her family in Canada ✈️🇨🇦

How amazing are our budding poets! Such a fun afternoon with everyone sharing their ideas for the Autumn Poem. And we made it to the County Down Spectator. Thanks Arlene Wilmont Dementia Support for all your hard work 🖋📃

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted…though I’ve always been extremely grateful for the support so many of you have given me 🙏

Throughout the pandemic I wasn’t able to go in to as many Homes as previously. I’ve been very fortunate to have a close affiliation with …We have been enjoying many activities each Tuesday and Thursday and last week the amazing residents of Richmond made their mark in our local Newspaper…An Autumnal Poem…and all they needed was the first line of each verse!!

Didn’t they do well!!
