The University of Exeter is hosting a research study investigating if people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) use social camouflaging strategies and how it can contribute to anxiety and overall wellbeing. The study involves a online survey using Qualtrics. The survey will ask about experiences of masking, camouflaging traits, concealment traits, stigma, symptoms of low mood, symptoms of social anxiety, symptoms of anxiety, and well-being.
As thanks for participating in the study, participants will have the option to provide their email address through another survey to enter a prize draw to win one of five £10 Amazon vouchers. The lead researcher of this study is Faye Brookes. Faye Brookes is an MSc Clinical Psychology student at the University of Exeter and can be contacted at fb573@exeter.ac.uk.
