Excellent rates of ‘block’ pay £10.10 to £11.00 per hour which is paid for client visits, travel time between visits, for mandatory training and for supervision meetings. Holiday pay paid in advance on a monthly basis: equates to £11.22 to £12.32 per hour. Public holidays paid 1.5 x basic hourly pay and Christmas pay at 2 x basic hourly pay. Mileage at £0.30 per mile
We pay for your DBS (Criminal record/Police check) and uniform.
Full Time or Part-Time Carer/s
Experience working in care is preferred but is not essential.
Working for a family run, professional agency based in Honiton covering from Honiton, Ottery St Mary, West Hill and rural areas surrounding them.
Full Driving License and own car essential as we are a rural agency.
No experience is necessary but it is preferred. We welcome carers who currently work in care homes and value their experience. Many of our team have worked in care homes and have the found move to home care a positive and rewarding one. We now pay our carers their hourly rate from the start of their series of client visits until end of their visits. That's a minimum of £10.10 per hour; including the travel time:- 'Block payment' This compares favourably to shifts worked in a care home.
