Seasonal Wreaths-lets do som**hing different!

This year I have decided to offer an alternative to just having a Christmas Wreath that you put up in December and take down in January. A lot of people would like a different wreath for each season but this is often cost prohibitive to the majority currently.

So in keeping with the sustainable ethos that I try and follow here Albertine Alice , I am offering Autumn Wreaths to order now , that can then be added to and changed to incorporate Christmas , Spring and Easter, to enable you to enjoy a wreath on your door through the changing seasons at a much lower outlay.

The wreath bases will be made using a moss and wire base. Seasonal foliage , a mix of dried , fresh flowers and plants ,along with ribbons , accessories and lights will be added each season if you choose.
You can do each season or dip in and out , there is no commitment . You can also begin your wreath journey at any season though prices will vary according to the starting point for the initial wreath. These will also make a great gift and you will also be able to purchase updates with your order to be sent out during the year.

The cost of the Autumn Wreath will be £35.00 and you will be able to change it up for the next season with prices starting at £15.00 each time.
If you local wreaths will be available for delivery and collection along with updates.
For those further afield the wreaths will be couriered out and the same will apply for each seasonal change along with written instructions on how to implement. There will also be video /reel instructions to follow each season.

All wreaths are individual and foliage and flowers will naturally fade and dry over time but your moss base will keep going .

Finally in a very wet West Yorkshire the dahlias have come good this morning . They were planted very late and the wait has been long but oh so worth it. I purchased these at the very end of the selling season from , I knew this year they probably wouldn’t be their best, a long hot summer and that late planting being the main culprits but as with most gardening I am playing the long game. I know with tender care over the winter tucked up in my nice dry loft , next spring I will be dividing these huge tubers and doubling my crop and will continue to do so for many years to come . Now if the hard frost could just hold off for another couple of weeks I would be very grateful xx

HAPPY YORKSHIRE DAY
1st August 2021
Now in my second year of living in this beautiful place and still so much more to discover and see. My legs are still getting used to the hills, that’s what the locals call them, I think us Southerners might call them mountains!
Primrose Cottage is still very much a work in progress with lots of plans for the now and in the future, both inside and out.
The floral workshops will begin to be held here for small groups in September which is very exciting, I’m so looking forward to teaching them again and welcoming new people to the experience. I will also be taking some workshops to venues of your choosing, the Flower Crown Workshops are lovely for Bridal and Baby Showers or even a workplace event.
And of course there will be the amazing Luxury Christmas Wreath Workshops! These will be available both at Primrose Cottage and at a fabulous local venue for a much larger group, all the details will go live at the end of August, early booking is essential if you don’t want to miss out on attending one of these.
I’m now off to walk Henry and Ned and enjoy this gorgeous countryside xx
