Sunday thoughts 🤎
When ladies say they want results yesterday, or expect big changes in a matter of weeks… it’s hard to be honest sometimes, without leaving ladies feeling almost defeated before they’ve already begun because the end results aren’t where they hoped they’d be, as the journey can seem long… but in all honesty, it should be long, because it should be a lifestyle, not a quick fix or another 6 week diet that doesn’t last, and old habits quickly return.
The below pictures show a 7/8 year journey, where there has been slow, steady and gradual changes, along with fluctuations and various chapters - but one thing stayed the same… consistency 🤎
But consistency is strange…
It often feels less like progress, and more like repetition and showing up even when nothing seems to be changing.
But that's the secret most people miss - change doesn't happen overnight. It builds slowly and gradually until one day, the results you can see catch up with the effort no one saw, sometimes even yourself.
The real truth is… growth looks like nothing is happening, until suddenly, everything is happening! Not because you did something once, but because you did something consistently, over and over, again and again, even when it felt like it didn't matter. It can feel boring, slow, doing the same thing again and again…
But that's what makes consistency so powerful - and where the changes truly happen.
The compound effect of small, intentional action is always working, especially when it feels like it isn't - just keep showing up, rinse and repeat the basics, and allow a balance to keep yourself positive too
So ultimately, be patient with the process, and fall in love with it, let it become a lifestyle, be in it for the long haul and think of your future self benefiting, as well as the here and now 🤎
