Still pottering along. Still out and abouting with my bestie Podge. Still running Art Club and gathering my arty pals together for fun and creativity. Happy Freaking New Year my friends. Go gently, with kindness and empathy. Be mindful of the impact of your words and deeds. You matter. What you think, say and do matters.

I’ve made no resolutions. The word I have chosen is not designed to drive me forward with ambition and grit. This year’s word is RELISH. My plan is to enjoy it all.

You will find me printing, sewing, cooking, walking, yogaing, laughing and mucking abouting.

Wear the thing, kiss the cutie, hug the pal, call your mum!

Yoo hoo! Up north, visiting twixmass. I’m ready for a massive detox. If I see another mince pie it will be too soon… don’t mistake me - I’m still gonna eat that sucker!

Oof… I am running on carbs and crap TV at this stage of the proceedings.

Anyone else up for the full fast/juice/veganuary/booze free/yoga with Adrienne reboot next week?

F**k me - I need a month at juicy oasis.

Winter trees are gorgeous just now. The London Planes even have their own baubles.

I’m thinking of making a print layering tree silhouettes for a wintery vibe.

I won’t be back in my studio until after the New Year but it’s a rare first crack with an actual idea - so maybe 2026 is already shaping up to be creatively productive.

Green has been getting up to all sorts. At one point we thought we’d lost him, but it turns out, little alien, green blobs are built different… most recently he has developed a worrying megalomania complex and we found him plotting world domination in the study!

Since then he has disappeared and we aren’t sure where he is.

Podge called the authorities - I wanted him that was risky. I think the FBI have swooped in and he is currently incommunicado in a black site.

Mind you - Green loves all that espionage malarkey so he will be delighted with himself.

Green has been allowed to play Elf on the shelf this year. Today he made himself a pair of antlers and disguised himself to join the herd! The tree and the lights went up this afternoon, so goodness knows what he will get up to tomorrow.

If you were wondering what we get up to in Art club, check these beauties out. Last night we dived into pop up cards and everyone created fantastic pieces.

Every month I come up with ideas for creative projects we can do in 2 hours. From 18.30 to 20.30 my studio is a hub of activity, laughing and chat! Think collage, simple printing and paper folding to make fun structures. All the materials are provided and I clean up after too. Bonus!

Art Club tonight with a few newbies. We will be making pop up cards for the season. We-ell! You have to give in eventually.

The gay reindeers are up, the chocolate tantalus/advent calendar is filled and the special bauble I gave to Podgey for our first Christmas is waiting for the tree.

Come and join us in the New Year for some arty/making fun in my parkside studio.

Scalped this wonderful pic of the delighted happy with her prints she snapped up from me at the North Bristol Art Trail. It was a great weekend, the weather was gorge for once and I think my decision to put a lot of my work into frames made a big difference.

Today I’m back in my studio for a big tidy up and to reconfigure the big rolling tables to Art Club arrangement.

I had loads of lovely conversations, and my best Art Trail sales in 5 years so I am pleased, happy and grateful for everyone who came out and spent time looking at my work.

The trails are a walking exhibition and seeing that much art and creativity is inspiring and happy making for the people who come out to have a look.

I will be photographing the framed works and popping them up on my website from next week so cut along to my profile to find links to all the places you can get involved from buying beautiful, colour drenched work to learning how to make your own prints.
