ONLINE APPOINTMENT BOOKING NOW AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER 16

We are pleased to share that our online appointment booking system is now open to patients under 16.

Appointments can be requested by:
• A parent or carer for children aged under 13
• The patient themselves if aged 13 or over

Online appointment booking is a quick and confidential way to get medical advice without needing to call the practice.

A valid email address is required to complete your request. For children under 13, the email address of a parent or carer can be used. For 13-15 year olds, it is preferred that the child uses their own contact details.

CHILD FLU VACCINE - BOOKING NOW!
We are now offering appointments for children’s flu vaccinations (nasal spray).

We are currently booking appointments for:
- Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025 (born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2023)
- Patients aged 12–17 years who are in a clinical risk group

Children aged 4 to 11 years will be offered the flu vaccine at school. Please phone the Practice on to make an appointment.

FLU AND COVID VACCINATIONS - APPOINTMENTS STILL AVAILABLE!
We are still booking appointments for both flu and covid vaccinations for eligible patients. Please use the link in your text message invitation to book. Alternatively, you can phone the Practice on our dedicated flu and covid booking line, open between 3pm – 5pm.

We have the following clinics available to book at Birchwood
Medical Practice –

Saturday 18th October
Saturday 25th October - flu only

If you are unable to make the above dates, please let us know and we will do our best to find you an alternative.
