We currently have vacancies for days/nights Healthcare Assistant.

There are full-time/part-time permanent contracts available.
Basic Pay is £11.60ph with weekend enhancement & Overtime pay of +£1.50, Waking Nights of +£1.00ph. Shifts include; 8am - 8pm, 8am - 2pm, 2pm to 8pm and 8pm - 8am.

The role includes:
Delivering all aspects of personal care
Communicating effectively with residents and other team members
Meeting the needs of the residents in a person centered approach
Documenting all aspects of the residents care
Adhering to company policies and procedures

Please note:
Based on the nature of the role we are required to do DBS checks on all employees prior to starting employment - onboarding timescales are based around times taken for DBS Clearance.

We are unable to offer sponsorship on these roles at present.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.60-£14.10 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to as Lifestyle/Activities Lead!

The right candidate will have plenty of previous experience working closely with elderly residents, finding out what matters to them and the organising the activities that inspire and motivate them.

At Smallbrook, we are committed to providing the highest quality person-centred care focused on helping residents remain active, happy and able lead their fullest life. This will also include regular external outings and trips. Our aim is to safely promote and expand the boundaries of what someone can do.

You are likely to be friendly, compassionate, pro-active and able to explore someone’s history to unlock their full potential in activities and lifestyle. Must have experience in this important role, this is a 36hr permanent position, covering alternate weekends with your assistant . £15.50 per hour with £17.00 per hour for the alternate weekends plus additional pay for any overtime hours.

**What does the role involve?
- To plan and execute daily activities for our residents with person-centred approach, with the support of the Lifestyle/Activities Assistant.
- Encourage participants to make choices for themselves and develop positive relationships with family and staff
- Create and plan external and internal events, involving the local community
- Create interesting bi-monthly newsletter and update activities calendar (IT skills)
- Ensure that daily record of activities and interaction is maintained on resident’s care plan
- Working as a part of a larger team, liaising with colleagues from all disciplinaries
- Applicants should have some prior experience of working in the same or a similar capacity

**What is the pay/benefits?
- Contracted 36hr per week

Dear Friends and Family,

As you may be aware, our sister home, Sherwood House Care Home in Walton on Thames, has gone through a complete transformation over the last two years. They have redeveloped the entire property through 3 phases of work to create an entirely new Care Home with a new Nursing Unit planned to open later in the year. To reflect these changes, from today, Monday 22nd May 2023, Sherwood House has changed it's name to “Walton Park Care Home”.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Walton Park Care-Home on their rebrand and wish them all the very best in this new chapter! 🥳
