💛 It’s Volunteers' Week – and we’re proud to celebrate the incredible people behind our training.
At LIVES, our educators don’t just teach life-saving skills—they live them.
When they’re not in the classroom, many of our trainers are out in their communities as frontline medical responders and Community First Responders, attending 999 calls and providing critical care before an ambulance arrives.
Their real-world experience means every session is shaped by genuine insight, compassion, and the determination to make a difference.
So when you train with LIVES, you’re learning from people who do this for real—and do it because they care.
This Volunteers’ Week, we say thank you.
💛 Volunteers' Week starts today, and we’re celebrating the everyday heroes who are there when it matters most—our LIVES volunteers.
They’re first on scene in medical emergencies over 70% of the time, delivering life-saving care before an ambulance arrives.
Now, they’re equipped with the tools to do even more. Thanks to generous support from BNA, we’ve completed the rollout of advanced Zoll defibrillators across all our responder districts—with BNA funding both the first and the final devices.
The latest to benefit is the Gainsborough district, where volunteer Wayne is already using the new tech to transform emergency response.

To every LIVES volunteer: thank you for your time, your care, and your dedication. This week, and every week, we are proud of you.
