Meet Michael, our new Residential Care Manager! 👋

We’re delighted to welcome Michael to the team. He has worked in the care sector for the past three years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication.

Michael specialises in teaching and supporting individuals with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties. He has also worked closely with people with learning disabilities, helping them build confidence and develop the skills needed to return to work and be active members of the community.

We’re so pleased to have Michael on board and know he’ll make a wonderful difference in the lives of our residents. 💛

Yesterday we had the lovely Ellie join us for our weekly Be Great Fitness session, and what a fantastic time we had! 💪✨

Our residents absolutely love it when Ellie visits — she brings so much joy, energy, and laughter into the home. From gentle exercises to plenty of smiles, it’s always a highlight of the week. 😊

Staying active, having fun, and sharing moments together is what it’s all about!

🌤️ Fresh Air & Happy Tails at Tanglewood! 🐾
Today our four‑legged residents, Toby and Kevin, enjoyed a lovely outing in the fresh air! 🐶💛
A stroll outside is one of their favourite parts of the day — plenty of sniffs, wagging tails, and smiles from everyone they meet.
Moments like these bring so much joy to our home and remind us how special the bond is between our residents and our furry friends. 💖

Friday morning fun at our care home! 🎶

We kicked off the day with a lively sing-along session, and there was plenty of energy in the room. Our residents didn’t just sing — they got moving too, thanks to Sarah, who added some fantastic chair Zumba moves to the mix! 💃🪑

It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, clapping, and joining in. Activities like these are a great way to keep both minds and bodies active — and have lots of laughs along the way. Well done to everyone who took part!

Our residents had a wonderful time painting with Sarah on Friday afternoon, and it truly brought out their creative side! 🖌️💛

It was especially heartwarming to see residents helping one another, sharing encouragement and enjoying the activity together — such a lovely moment of kindness and community.

There’s nothing better than seeing everyone relaxed, expressing themselves, and adding a splash of colour to the day.

Our creative residents have been busy bees this week, and today they proudly finished building their beautiful butterfly houses! 🛠️🌸

After starting the project earlier in the week, everyone added their own special finishing touches today — and let’s just say our Activity Coordinator Sarah definitely wasn’t shy with the glitter! ✨😄

It’s been wonderful to see so much creativity, teamwork, and laughter buzzing around. We can’t wait to place these colourful homes in the garden and watch the butterflies move in! 🦋💛

It’s been a busy and creative week here!

We started the week with our much-loved Monday morning bingo — always a great way to bring everyone together for some fun and friendly competition 🎉

In the afternoon, our residents got wonderfully creative making beautiful butterfly houses 🦋🏡 This activity really brought out everyone’s artistic side, and it was lovely to see so much imagination and teamwork on display.

We’re so proud of the amazing creations and the smiles they brought! 💖
