Today our residents celebrated in the most delicious way—by sampling a variety of wonderful cheeses! From creamy to crumbly, mild to bold, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 😍
It was a fantastic opportunity to come together, share smiles, and indulge in some truly tasty treats. Safe to say, it was a gouda day all around! 🧀💛

What a fantastic day we had yesterday celebrating St Patrick’s Day! 🍀💚

Our home was filled with laughter, music, and plenty of Irish cheer as residents came together to enjoy the festivities. From themed decorations to great company and joyful moments, it truly was a day to remember.

Seeing so many smiles and shared moments of happiness is what makes days like this so special. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success!

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations at Horncastle Tanglewood 🍀

What a fantastic day we’ve had celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish style here at Horncastle Tanglewood! 🇮🇪✨

We kicked things off this morning with our energising Be Great Fitness session led by Ellie – a brilliant start to the day that had everyone moving, smiling, and feeling great! 💪🎶

The celebrations continued with traditional Irish music filling the home, and we even had a mischievous leprechaun join in the fun! 🍀😉

A huge thank you to Joanna and Georgina from The Thatch in town for their incredibly kind donation of 0% Guinness 🍻 – it certainly helped set the mood and added to the authentic Irish atmosphere for our residents.

This afternoon, we were treated to a wonderful live performance from the talented Lesley Locke, who delighted everyone with beautiful Irish songs and violin music 🎻💚

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family members who joined us and helped make the day so special. Your presence means the world to our residents ❤️

It’s days like these that create lasting memories and bring so much joy to our home. ☘️

There was lots of excitement, laughter, and a little friendly competition in the room as everyone gathered for our first game of the week.

🌸 Mother’s Day at Tanglewood 🌸

Yesterday at Tanglewood Care Home we had a truly wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day with our lovely residents. The dining room looked absolutely beautiful, filled with decorations, flowers, and a warm, joyful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. 💐

Our wonderful mothers spent the day celebrating together, sharing smiles, laughter, and special moments with friends and staff. It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying the occasion and feeling appreciated for the incredible mothers they are.

We would like to wish all the amazing mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for the love, care, and wisdom you bring to the world every single day. 💖

Over the weekend we received our very first entry for our Easter Bonnet Competition… and WOW! What an absolutely beautiful and creative piece it is! 🎨👒 We are already so impressed and excited to see the amazing ideas everyone comes up with.

We can’t wait to see all of your wonderful creations and the creativity our community brings to this special event. 💛

✨ A Beautiful Mother’s Day Pamper at Tanglewood ✨

Today the lovely ladies at Tanglewood in Horncastle enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day pamper session, and it was truly a special day for everyone involved. 💐

The home was filled with relaxation, laughter, and smiles as our residents were treated to a range of pampering experiences. Some of the ladies enjoyed soothing hand massages and having their nails done, while others relaxed with gentle, refreshing facials.

The atmosphere throughout the day was simply amazing — calm, joyful, and full of appreciation as we celebrated the wonderful women who mean so much to us.

It was a beautiful opportunity for everyone to unwind, feel special, and enjoy a little well-deserved self-care. Moments like these are what make days at Tanglewood so memorable. 💖

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures we celebrate today! 🌷
