We would like to say a huge thankyou to The Admiral Rodney Hotel, Horncastle for helping us with hot water for cups of tea while we had our powercut we now have our power back on! Thankyou! we are all sat now with a lovely cup of tea!

Tanglewood Knitting Party Brings Joy and Community Spirit

Tanglewood’s recent knitting party was a wonderful success, bringing smiles, creativity, and a great sense of togetherness to everyone who joined in. Residents and visitors spent the day crafting, chatting, and enjoying each other’s company as needles clicked and colourful creations took shape.

Festive Cheer Arrives at Tanglewood This December

Tanglewood is delighted to announce a special Christmas celebration taking place on 18th December, and everyone is invited to join their loved ones for a joyful day of festive fun.

The morning will begin with live music, setting the perfect holiday atmosphere. Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of games and activities throughout the event, offering entertainment for all ages.

Adding to the festive spirit, children from the Nurture Hub Day Nursery will visit to perform a selection of beautiful Christmas songs, sure to warm hearts and spread seasonal cheer.

Tanglewood looks forward to welcoming residents, families, and friends for a wonderful day of celebration. Mark your calendars and come share in the magic of Christmas!

Residents enjoyed an energetic morning for a series of lively ball games designed to get our hearts pumping and spirits soaring. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as everyone joined in at their own pace.

To keep our energy levels up, we took relaxing breaks in between activities, sharing a warm cup of tea and a tasty snack before heading back for more fun. It was a wonderful blend of movement, socializing, and simple enjoyment—leaving everyone smiling and ready for their lunch!

In a heartwarming moment of simple pleasure,three residents took advantage of yesterday’s mild weather with a leisurely walk to the Admiral Rodney. They enjoyed steaming cups of coffee inside the popular town spot, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon of relaxation.

Adding to the charm of the outing, they brought along their knitting, turning the visit into a cozy and creative escape. Their wholesome afternoon highlights the joy of slowing down and appreciating the little things—good company, warm drinks, and cherished hobbies.

Knitting update! We’ve tested the scarf, and Nicole, our Activities Lead, can confirm it’s wonderfully warm and cosy. With just under two weeks left in our challenge, we’re excited to keep the momentum going!
