A reminder that masks should still be worn by patients attending podiatry appointments in all parts of the UK unless medically exempt. As restrictions ease on mask use in public settings, enhanced measures remain in place in all NHS and private healthcare settings.

The Royal College of Podiatry has released its guidance regarding the use of masks and other personal protective equipment.
All health care professionals must continue to wear appropriate PPE as per Public Health England and whilst patients are on health care premises they are also required to wear a mask, sanitise hands and keep socially distant.
Obviously if you are exempt from wearing a mask that is fine.
I would appreciate if this guidance can be followed in an effort to keep myself, my family and my other patients healthy and safe.

Further guidance has been released by the College of Podiatrists, I am now able to offer appointments to all.
I have appropriate ppe in place and the waiting area is set up for social distancing.

New guidance has been released by the College of Podiatry; I am now able to offer treatment to people who meet certain criteria. If you are experiencing foot pain or feel you have a problem with your feet please ring me on 07518149624. I will have to ask questions about your medical history, foot condition and may require you to send a picture of your foot/feet so that your condition can be triaged to ensure the guidance is being followed.
