LIVES WHATEVER IT IS. WHATEVER YOU NEED. WE’VE GOT YOU. A commitment to saving life, whatever it takes. That’s what unites all our Emergency Responders. This isn’t a job.

Lincolnshire’s Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service: Delivering rapid, life-saving first response care for 999 emergencies across Lincolnshire through our network of Community First Responders. Whether they’re providing rapid first response support on their doorstep, or highly specialised medical interventions around the clock and across the county. It’s what they do. This is a life choice, that

all LIVES’ volunteers share. Our charity provides expert skills through responding to a 999 call. We provide expert training. We fundraise. We are there when you need us most. www.LIVES.org.uk

Our team also dropped in to deliver CPR demonstrations and teach vital skills.

A big thank you to Gill for organising the event — and to everyone who came along and donated. Your support helps us continue to be there when lives are on the line.

Today we were proud to be part of help bring together Lincolnshire Police, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, HM Coastguard Sutton Bridge and St John Ambulance for a brilliant Emergency Services Day at Lutton St Nicholas Primary School.

Yesterday our team were out at Tesco Extra in Lincoln, giving shoppers and staff the chance to learn lifesaving CPR skills!

It was brilliant to see 15 people take a few minutes out of their day to have a go — because you never know when you might need to step up and save a life.

A huge thank you to Tesco Extra for their incredible support and for donating 62 cases of water to help keep our wider team hydrated while they’re out responding and delivering training across the county.

Every skill learned and every donation made helps save lives here in Lincolnshire.

What an amazing community effort!

The Love In a Cup Community Cafe in Kirton in Lindsey has donated an incredible £1,000 to LIVES! Local Responder Wayne popped down to meet the café’s members and organisers — including Caroline, who set the café up three years ago.

Since then, this brilliant community group has raised over £10,000 for local charities and good causes — and now, thanks to their generosity, LIVES will benefit too.

To put that into perspective, £1,000 could fund three complete responder kit bags — giving our volunteers the vital equipment they need to help save lives across Lincolnshire. This donation will make a real difference in our communities.

A huge thank you to Caroline and all the volunteers who make this group such a lifeline for the community. We’re so grateful for your support!

What a weekend for Team LIVES! 💛

From the water at the Dragon Boat Race to the skies at the Wickenby Aerodrome, Museum & Cafe Fly-In, it’s been a brilliant couple of days out in the community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, rowed, flew in — and got hands-on learning life-saving bystander CPR with us.

At 79, John Whitbread cycled over 400 miles across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire!

John’s challenge wasn’t about him, but about supporting the life-saving work LIVES first responders do every day. Despite rain and long days, the welcome he received from the LIVES team kept him going.

He’s already raised an incredible amount, and we’re so grateful for his support. Thank you, John 💛

Our Story

LIVES is a charity supporting an army of highly trained and dedicated volunteer Medics and Community First Responders, living in communities across Greater Lincolnshire. Our volunteers get to members of their local community fast to administer vital emergency care before handing over to the ambulance service. A community based LIVES Responder could be the difference between life or death.

Our highly trained volunteer Community First Responders and medics are exactly that – volunteers. They are everyday people who give their free time to attending 999 medical emergencies within their local community. They are there for thousands of people each year and their actions save lives. To keep our volunteers on the road, we need to raise over £1.4 million each year from public donations.

Help us save lives in Lincolnshire.
