We are excited to announce that we are fundraising for LIVES

I’ve included a brief summary of what they do, and I know what costs are needed to provide kit & training too - I hope the community will support us.

For over 25 years, LIVES Community First Responders have been at the frontline of emergency care, volunteering their own time and using their own cars—without blue lights—to respond to medical emergencies, all funded entirely by donations. In 2024 alone, they attended 2,230 patients, were first on scene 70.8% of the time, and in just one month of 2025 delivered lifefesaving response.

These dedicated volunteers provide rapid medical assistance and vital reassurance, saving countless lives and making a real, lasting difference to the health and safety of our communities.

Today, we remember.

We pause to honour those who gave their lives in service, the brave men and women who stood for others in times of unimaginable challenge.

At LIVES, we’re inspired by that same spirit of courage and selflessness, the drive to protect, to help, and to care for others when they need it most.

As we remember them, we also reflect on the everyday heroes among us who continue to serve their communities today.

We will remember them. 🌺

💛 A huge thank you to Micronclean!

Their annual Family Fun Day has raised an amazing £1,250 for LIVES, helping our volunteer responders continue to provide life-saving care across Lincolnshire.

The donation was presented by Sarah Merton, HR Manager at Micronclean Ltd, whose father suffered a heart attack and was attended by a LIVES responder. Thanks to that swift response, he went on to make a full recovery.

We’re so grateful to everyone at Micronclean for their kindness, generosity and support.

Our Story

LIVES is a charity supporting an army of highly trained and dedicated volunteer Medics and Community First Responders, living in communities across Greater Lincolnshire. Our volunteers get to members of their local community fast to administer vital emergency care before handing over to the ambulance service. A community based LIVES Responder could be the difference between life or death.

Our highly trained volunteer Community First Responders and medics are exactly that – volunteers. They are everyday people who give their free time to attending 999 medical emergencies within their local community. They are there for thousands of people each year and their actions save lives. To keep our volunteers on the road, we need to raise over £1.4 million each year from public donations.

Help us save lives in Lincolnshire.
