2️⃣ years sober today 🙌🏼☮️

Everything I have achieved in the past 2 years would never have been possible if I was still alcohol dependent.
When I look back to pictures like the one on the left I don’t recognise that person. So much pain behind my eyes..
I suffered for many years with depression and I hid behind the booze. The booze made it worse.. it was a viscous circle..

I will never be more grateful for the strength I found to get sober…

Living with a clear conscience and a fresh head everyday is the best feeling.
I’m a better Mum to my boys and a better wife to Tommy and that was my motivation.

So this isn’t a crazy weight loss before and after picture.

But, the picture on the left is from a few years ago when I was heavily alcohol dependent and miserable.

Fast forward to the picture on the right which taken was recently on a break away with my boys. Feeling healthy happy and content 💕

I’m so happy I took control of my life 🙌🏼

Just wanted to say hello to all the new followers I’ve gotten over the past few weeks! 👋🏼

My story in a nutshell:

I was alcohol dependent and very unhealthy. In May 2022 I decided enough was enough and I quit alcohol.
I weighed in at 16 stone 10lbs 🙈 (I’m 5ft 2)

Initially I lost 1 stone and 4lbs - this was purely down to quitting the calorie intake from alcohol.
I was trying to make healthier choices but ultimately my weight then plateaud at 15 stone 6 and it was time for my next challenge.
At this point I was 6 months sober. I decided If I could quit alcohol Incould do anything!

I had seen many crazy transformations from people on the 1:1 diet and thought why not let’s give it a go! I ordered 1 month of products and thought I’d do a month and get a kick start.
That was it I was hooked! The weight started dropping off.

In March last year I trained to be a 1:1 diet consultant as I believe so much in the plan. I’m now helping so many people lose weight.

In total I’ve lost 5 stone using the 1:1 diet and I couldn’t be happier!!
Everything in life has got better and I have a much better relationship with food now.

I’m speaking to so many people about sobriety and weight loss now. Hopefully I will help them see they can have a better life away from the drink if they have a problem.
I hate that video but I’m so glad I have the reminder of how low I had gone

It’s surreal having your story laid bare for all to see. I share it on here and I’m honest but to see it written down is different. I’ve had the magazine a few days and I’ve only just been able to read the article.
It does still make me a bit sad to think of the time I’ve wasted …

BUT, reason I started this instagram page was to show people that it can be done…

You have the power to change your life, beat addictions and become who it is you’ve always wanted to be 💫

For me, it was to be a Mum my boys can be proud of and I can say with a happy heart I got there.

Sometimes being a at rock bottom is a blessing. The only way is up 💫

I want to work with as many people in 2024 as I can.
The thought of anyone feeling how low I did breaks my heart. There is hope and there is a way out you just have to find the strength and realise you are worth the fight.

Feeling very proud of myself this morning!! I pushed myself right out of my comfort zone in the gym. Thank you to my trainer for the plan and support. Day 1 in the bag 💪🏼
