Getting emergency help on the way as soon as possible is crucial.

Call 999, put your phone on loudspeaker, and start CPR, so you can do both without stopping.

You should put butter or toothpaste on a burn.

➡️ False.

Home remedies like butter or toothpaste can trap heat in the skin and make the burn worse.

The best first aid is to cool the burn under cool running water for at least 20 minutes.

Simple first aid done properly can make a big difference to healing.
